One of the brightest representatives of this trend is the Green Noise apple tree.
Breeding history of the variety
Green Shum is a variety of columnar apple trees of domestic selection. Received culture in the city of Orel on the basis of VNIISPK. A synonym for the name is Zeleny Shum.

However, the plant does not die, and still lives for several years.

Like all fruit crops, the Green Shum apple variety has its own advantages and some disadvantages.
Among the advantages are:

Among the disadvantages is a rather short fruiting period (15 years), as well as the high price of seedlings. But all these features are typical for columns.
Ripening and fruiting

The fruit crop blooms in late May or in the first part of June, depending on climatic conditions. Ripe fruits ripen in late September.

Growing features
Planting a tree is carried out in the spring, before the bud swelling and before sap flow. The planting pit is being prepared in the fall. Be sure to use crushed stone drainage.Further, the earth, which was taken out of the hole, is mixed with organic fertilizers, as well as potassium-phosphorus compounds, including superphosphate, potassium sulfate and wood ash. Place the planting material carefully. Individual roots cannot be folded. The plant is half asleep, tamped, half a bucket of water at room temperature is poured. Then they wait for the moisture to be absorbed into the ground. After that, the soil is finally filled up and compacted around the trunk. The seedling is tied to a support. Next, a hole is made around the trunk, where water is added - 1-2 buckets per plant. At the end of the planting procedure, the culture should be mulched.
Pollination
Pollination of the Green Noise variety requires pollinating trees. They will have to grow close to the apple tree and bloom with it at the same time.
The apple tree is a popular fruit crop among gardeners. It can be found in many summer cottages. But at the same time, such trees are often affected by various diseases. It is very important to recognize the disease in time and carry out the necessary procedures for a speedy recovery. Otherwise, the fruits will be spoiled, and the tree itself may die altogether.
