The described apple tree belongs to the varieties of the Belarusian selection. It was obtained by crossing Lovefam x 18/4 and Babushkino x 4/8.

Verbnoe belongs to the early-growing varieties. This is a medium-sized plant. The maximum height that Verbnoe can reach is 4 meters. The crown is never very dense, rather, of medium density. The shape of the crown is rounded.

Among the advantages of this variety, one can single out a decent yield, good keeping quality of fruits and resistance to diseases.

Among the minuses, it should be noted only that the fruits are of different sizes.

Palm tree refers to the winter ripening period. The trees are harvested from August to September. The consumption period starts in December and ends in May. 3-4 years after planting the seedlings, you can get the first harvest.

Palm tree is grown in Belarus and the middle zone of our country, but this does not mean that the apple tree does not grow in other regions.

When the tree reaches maturity, 50 to 70 kg of apples can be harvested from it.

One of the advantages of growing Verbnoe apple trees is that they can be planted in very small areas. When planting more than one tree, a distance of two to three meters between the plants is ideal.

Newly planted apple trees need support to grow strong and erect with strong roots. You can use a trellis to which the plant is tied. As a result, even in a strong wind, the apple tree will have the necessary support. The trellis should be one meter taller than the sapling in order to stand as long as the tree is growing.

When planting Verbny, a suitable partner is selected to ensure cross-pollination. Pollen transfer from one variety to another is essential for successful fruiting. There are many examples of compatible varieties to refer to.

It is important to feed the plant during the growing stage as fertilization will help keep it strong and healthy. Fruit trees are especially in need of good nutrition. Initially, to strengthen the root system of Verbny, it is important that the fertilizer contains more phosphorus and potassium, but less nitrogen. The ideal ratio is 3: 20: 20.

You can also use a slow-release fertilizer that is placed in the mulch before spreading it over the soil around the tree. This top dressing will nourish the soil every time you water.

However, it is worth remembering that an overabundance of minerals is just as harmful as a deficiency. This is especially true of boron, due to which the fruits ripen and acquire an attractive appearance. When there is too much of it, apples become toxic to humans.

This indicator is at the maximum level for trees of this type.

Verbnoe is highly resistant to scab, since the Vf gene is introduced into the apple tree, and to pests. Thus, regular treatment with fungicides and insecticides is not required, however, preventive treatment at the beginning of the season, when the buds are just opening, is best done.
