To some extent, this grape variety can be called a real sensation, according to its name. Powerful clusters with berries of an original shape and variable color are distinguished by a pleasant taste. The sensation can be attributed to fairly new, but already very popular grape varieties. Lovers of grape berries owe its creation to the efforts of the winegrower Vasily Ulyanovich Kapelyushny. The famous breeder from the Rostov region is the author of many hybrid varieties of grape crops. To create a Sensation, Kapelyushny used the Talisman and Rizamat varieties. Thus, the donors of the hybrid form endowed it with qualities similar to the relative hybrid called Julian. The novelty turned out to be unpretentious in care and combined all the best qualities of its donors. In 2016, the successful variety Sensation was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements.

The young bush of the hybrid is yellow in color with a tinge of red. Older bushes take on a brown tint. The vine of the Sensation is powerful, strong, capable of withstanding a considerable load of weighty bunches. The grape bushes of this hybrid variety show active growth, stretching by 100-200% over the summer, while having time to ripen to their full length.

The leaves are characterized by a bright green hue and scalloped rims. On one side, they have light grooves, on the opposite side, they are completely smooth. The vine reaches 50 m in length. For convenience, the shoots are cut off. When the plant grows in cool climatic conditions, the vine will stretch for a maximum of 4 m.

The main advantage of the variety is considered to be a very early ripening period. The growing season is 95-105 days.

Bunches of Sensation are very effective, cylindro-conical, with lobes and an elongated peduncle. The density is moderate. Length from 30 cm and more. The average weight is 700-1500 g.

The color of the berries is pink, with an uneven color. In the stage of full ripeness, it becomes amber-pink, with a red tint in the unshaded part of the bunch. The shape of the fruits of the Sensation is oblong. The weight of each grape is 15-20 g. All berries in a cluster are uniform. There are rather large bones in the pulp. The skin is hardly noticeable when chewed. Moreover, it has a dense structure and medium thickness.

Early table grapes are endowed with an amazing Muscat flavor. Sugar accumulation of fruits is about 18%, acidity is 4-5 g / l.

The sensation gives abundant fruiting. One vine can accommodate and sustain 40 bunches or more. In one season, you can collect from 60 kg of grapes from it. Under unfavorable conditions, the culture can develop poorly. At the same time, the level of yield decreases.

It is advisable to purchase cuttings in garden centers. Young sprouts of grapes begin to be planted with the onset of spring in a previously prepared soil. A place with good sun light is best for grapes. There should be no tall plantings nearby, which will shade young shoots. It is also important to choose an area that is not blown by the winds.

Otherwise, the root system will begin to actively develop and will constantly search for water sources underground. At the same time, the plant will direct all its strength to the development of the root, which will negatively affect the green mass and the quality of the crop.

After the introduction of moisture, the earth around the bush is mulched and stays in a moist state longer. Sawdust or straw is suitable as mulch. The culture does not tolerate drought very well. In the southern regions, it is important to provide the plant with regular watering.

Regularly grapes Sensation need top dressing. Every year, under the bushes, it is required to make portions of humus and phosphorus-potassium supplements, which also bring benefits.

The plant tolerates negative temperatures well. The grapes do not freeze down to -24 degrees, but require shelter for the winter. To preserve moisture, they cover it during severe frosts.

The variety is slightly susceptible to damage to the main diseases: gray rot, mildew, powdery mildew.
