Anyuta is a favorite hybrid of the breeder V. N. Krainov's own collection. Most of all, the taste of this grape attracts attention. Although the rest of his qualities are at their best.
Breeding history
Viktor Nikolaevich used grapes Kesha-1 (or Talisman) and Radiant raisins to breed this form. These were his favorite crosses. And although the genetic variations presented different surprises each time, in the case of Anyuta everything went smoothly. Anyuta inherited the yield and size of berries from the Talisman, and a unique taste from the Radiant.
The name of the grape was given in honor of the beloved granddaughter of Viktor Nikolaevich. As a variety, the form was registered after the death of the breeder, in 2016. The copyright of Krainov and 3 other breeders was confirmed in the State Register.
Geography of distribution
The hybrid was obtained in Novocherkassk, Rostov region, but can be grown further north. Provided shelter, it can be used in central Russia.
Description
Anyuta is a table form of grapes. The shoots are strong and have a good survival rate both on their own roots and on rootstocks. The fruits of this variety are characterized by high commercial indicators. Their color ranges from light to dark pink.
Ripening period
The ripening period depends on the climatic conditions of the region and the number of sunny days. Ranges from medium to medium-late and is 140 days. The variety ripens well by the end of September in the conditions of the Rostov region and in other regions with a similar climate.
Bunches
The bunches are large, conical, aligned, not loose. Their weight ranges from 700 g to 1.5 kg. Most often, they weigh a little less than a kilogram. Large ones, up to one and a half kilograms, are the exception rather than the rule. They usually start to form first. The middle and smallest clusters grow after them.
The appearance of the bunches of Anyuta grapes is very attractive: deep pink bunches with a slight blush, with large, even berries, which immediately attracts buyers. It is known that the presentation of this grape in comparison with other varieties and hybrids at a height, the berries do not crumble during transportation from the place of cultivation to the place of sale.
A very important quality of Anyuta is that the variety is not prone to peas. This means that there is no such unpleasant phenomenon in the brush as neighboring berries of different sizes, from very large to small ones, the size of peas. In a bunch, all the berries are aligned, both in size and shape.
Berries
Anyuta's berries are large oval, up to 20 g. They are quite firmly attached to the petioles. The color is deep pink, the berries are translucent, with a blush on one side. The pulp is fleshy, moderately crispy, not watery, but at the same time tender. The skin is of medium thickness, eaten with the pulp. But at the same time, it is dense enough to create a barrier for wasps.
Berries, in comparison with other varieties and hybrids, have a very high preservation, they can hang on the bush for a long time. These grapes are practically not prone to cracking, only a few berries can burst due to prolonged high humidity or bad weather. The berries are colored in the same way: in direct sun and shaded with leaves.
Taste
The main thing in the presented grapes is the taste: the unique nutmeg aroma and sweetness of the berries, which made it possible to become the idol of many winegrowers. It is because of the taste that the Krainov called her his favorite hybrid.
Yield
Anyuta grapes are very productive, its shoots are prone to overload. With good care, up to 10 kg of berries can be harvested from one bush. But shaping is imperative, otherwise the bushes may not cope with the harvest.
Growing features
The variety is quite unpretentious, but strong shoots and a large yield require an increased feeding area. With proper care and shaping, the bush grows up to 3 meters after three years. A gap of at least 2 meters is left between the plants.
In this variety, it is imperative to normalize the number of brushes, especially in the middle lane. In order for the grapes to ripen on young shoots, you need to leave 1 brush, on adults - 3.
Landing
Anyuta variety can be planted both in spring and autumn. But it is better to use a spring planting, so that the root system is properly formed, and the plant is prepared for the first winter.
When planting, you need to pay attention not so much to the air temperature as to the soil temperature. It should warm up to +10 degrees. In autumn, the planting procedure should be carried out no later than 3 weeks before permanent frosts.
It is better to choose a sunny place. But it should be borne in mind that Anyuta's root system is very extensive, so a lot of space for one bush will be required. The planting hole must be dug at least 0.7x0.7x0.7 m. Powerful shoots will require sufficient nutrition, it is filled with humus mixed with phosphorus-potassium fertilizers. When landing, at least 3 buds should remain on the surface.
Pollination
The flowers are bisexual, so it can be used as a pollinator for other hybrids and grape varieties. Pollination occurs both at high humidity and at high humidity.
Pruning
After the growing season is over, Anyuta grapes can be cut off. This will help to further increase yields and improve the health of the bush. This variety is best fanned out, leaving approximately 30 eyes and 20 shoots. And you should also remove unripe and dry shoots.
Frost resistance and the need for shelter
The variety was bred in the Rostov region with rather warm winters, but, despite this, it must be covered. Anyuta cannot withstand temperatures below minus 21-23 ° C.
Diseases and pests
All the grape hybrids that Viktor Nikolaevich brought out on his site are resistant to cracking and rot. If the derived form was unreliable, then the breeder got rid of it immediately. In the floodplain area where the prototypes grew, frosts were frequent, as well as fogs and dews, so we can say that the selection took place naturally.
Anyuta in this sense is no exception, the variety is resistant to powdery mildew and mildew.
If a grape is exposed to any disease or insect, this always affects its appearance.
Storage
This grape variety keeps well both on the bush (until October) and after harvest. The maximum shelf life is 4 months.
