The defeat of the vine with a disease such as oidium can lead to a loss of yield for several years, therefore it is extremely important to treat the grapes on time, and then spray the plant with a fungicide as a preventive measure.

general description

The complex preparation "Falcon" effectively copes with many fungal infections of plants, including oidium in grapes. The company producing this drug is the German concern Bayer, whose products are known all over the world. Initially, the agent was developed to combat fungal infections of cereals and sugar beets, but in the course of research, the effective effect of the drug on powdery mildew, affecting grapes, was revealed.

The Falcon fungicide contains three active chemicals - triadimenol, tebuconazole, spiroxamine, which help to treat various plant diseases (powdery mildew, septoria, phomosis, rust, oidium and others), in addition, each of them performs a specific function:

  • triadimenol - helps to increase resistance to frost in plants;
  • tebuconazole - activates growth;
  • spiroxamine - makes plants more resistant to aggressive environmental influences.

Let's consider what is the advantage of using the Falcon fungicide for grapes:

  • effectively copes with powdery mildew in grapes;
  • the minimum waiting time for the result of exposure is 3-4 hours;
  • protection of treated plants lasts up to 40 days, depending on the weather and the degree of pathogen infestation;
  • has low toxicity, therefore it is absolutely safe for plants;
  • contributes to the further production in the vine of substances that strengthen the immunity of the plant and contribute to its active growth;
  • the ability to apply the product in any weather conditions, however, the best result will be achieved at temperatures from +18 to +25 degrees;
  • pathogenic organisms do not develop resistance to the drug;
  • if precautions are taken, it is not dangerous for humans and animals;
  • profitable to use, has a pleasant price;
  • easy to use.

It should be noted that This fungicide is not recommended for use on crops that ripen quickly and early, since it takes 25-40 days for the preparation to obtain a 100% result in the fight against pathogens.

When choosing a drug, pay attention to the presence of the manufacturer's logo on the label, the absence of which indicates that this is a fake.
