Vibratory plate oil: description and application

The following types of oil are used for vibrating plates:

• mineral;
• synthetic;
• semi-synthetic.

For gasoline models such as Honda gx390, gx270, gx200, a mineral engine composition with a viscosity of sae10w40 or sae10w30 is best suited. These types of oils for vibrating plates have a large temperature range, good thermal and oxidative stability. When used, a minimum amount of soot is formed.

Synthetic oils differ from mineral blends at the molecular level. Molecules of synthetic elements are synthesized with desired properties. In addition, they are able to flush out all deposits on parts more quickly due to their high fluidity. Mineral masses do this more slowly.

For vibrating plates that work with gasoline engines, it is better to select a special mineral oil. This product is the most natural of all varieties. The mineral composition for such oil is created on the basis of petroleum components by distillation and refining. Such a manufacturing technology is considered the simplest and fastest, therefore such mixtures have a low cost.

The mineral base contains alkaline elements and cyclic paraffins, hydrocarbons (cyclanic, aromatic and cyclane-aromatic). It can also include special unsaturated hydrocarbons. This type of oil will change the degree of its viscosity depending on the temperature conditions. It is able to form the most stable oil film, which is characterized by good stability.

Synthetic variants have a different composition. They are manufactured using a more sophisticated technology. In addition to the base mixture, such varieties contain elements made from polyalphaolefins, esters. The composition can also contain semi-synthetic components. They are 30-50% made from synthetic fluid. Some types of oils additionally contain various essential additives, detergents, antiwear fluids, anti-corrosion additives, and antioxidants.

As in the previous version, the viscosity of the oil will depend on the temperature regime. But it should be noted that its viscosity index is quite high. Also, the mixture has a low level of volatility, a low coefficient of friction.

Before pouring oil into the engine, vibrator and gearbox of the vibrating plate, you should familiarize yourself with its composition. It is necessary to take into account the viscosity of the mass. Various mineral products are used more often. Remember that oils with an unsuitable viscosity can lead to equipment failure in the future.

Also, when choosing, you need to pay attention to the reaction of the liquid when the temperature factor changes. In this case, synthetic varieties are less responsive to such changes, so when working in conditions of sharp temperature changes, synthetic options are often used.

Before filling or replacing, check the oil level in a technician. To begin with, the equipment is placed on a flat surface.Further, the cover is removed from the hole into which the liquid is poured. The mixture is poured there to the indicated mark, and a larger volume should not be poured. When oil is poured into the hole, the engine is turned on for a few seconds and then turned off. Then check the liquid level again. If it remains unchanged, then you can already start working with the technique.

Remember that if special filter elements are not provided in the vibrating plate, then the oil will have to be changed quite often, because strong contamination will form during use. After the first use, it will be necessary to change the fluid after 20 hours of operation. In subsequent times, pouring is performed every 100 working hours.
