All about adapters for Eurocube
It is necessary for a wide range of consumers to know everything about adapters for a Eurocube - and not only individuals, but also employees of organizations. In many cases, it is useful to figure out how to do such useful things with your own hands. In any situation, however, you will have to carefully study the adapter from the tap to the hose for a 3/4 "and 1/2" inch cube with coarse and other threads.
What is it and why is it needed?
Cubic plastic containers are very widespread. They are used in commercial (industrial, construction) facilities, and when transporting liquids, and even in private homes. But sooner or later it becomes necessary to pour out these very liquids or pour them inside. Then the special adapters for the Eurocube turn out to be extremely valuable devices. It is not always possible to connect anything to standard cubic structures.
Most often, special adapters are made to connect simultaneously to the drain valve and to the hose. Thanks to them, it is possible to provide watering (irrigation), filling small containers and satisfy other needs. Such modules are fully compatible with any common IBC containers. The connected hose can then be fed to a smaller water barrel. Therefore, we repeat, almost everyone needs such products: from employees of large factories and staff of railway stations to ordinary summer residents and farmers.
What are they?
Of course, not every design is suitable for a cubic capacity in a particular case. Much depends on its connecting dimensions. So, the adapter for ¾ "has become quite widespread. But in some cases, a completely different accessory will do - already designed for 1/2 "". Usually, the use of quick-release adapters is envisaged, capable of operating on-line for drain or overflow.
Some devices provide a direct transition from a coarse thread valve to a regular inch port. In everyday life, such a device sometimes turns out to be almost priceless. Most often, these couplings are made on the basis of stainless steel grades. There are also models that are suitable for pouring valves in size (on a metric scale):
-
60x6;
-
62x1;
-
62x3.
How to do it yourself?
Buying a finished factory product, however, is by no means necessary. Without much difficulty, you can make similar designs of no worse quality yourself... The simplest workpiece can be a cork from a polymer canister for lubricating oil. They just make a hole in it, push the fitting. Even children can cope with the subsequent connection of the necessary communications.
In some cases, adapters from a polypropylene pipe are used. To give them the desired parameters, the workpieces have to be sharpened.
You can set the desired geometry of the cut and its configuration on plasticine. The valve assembly is usually soldered. The most ordinary tap is also suitable, if only it can be mounted in a polypropylene wall; it is only necessary in any case to take into account the difference between Anglo-Saxon and European-Russian carvings.
