Mineral fertilizers are essential for a good harvest of vegetables and fruits. Large agro-industrial complexes use them without fail. Many private gardeners use only organic additives, considering mineral fertilizers to be non-ecological, but their competent and timely application to the soil does not harm nature and human health. And when growing flowers, they are simply irreplaceable. In the Republic of Bashkortostan there is a large enterprise, JSC Meleuzov Mineral Fertilizers, whose products are in demand not only in Russia, but also abroad.

Peculiarities

The chemical plant was established back in the 70s of the last century. Despite serious historical changes, the company was saved with the support of the government. Since the plant produces mainly ammonium nitrate, which is the main product, it was named JSC "Meleuz mineral fertilizers". The city of Meleuz was not chosen by chance, it was located exactly halfway between the country's two large resource bases, the Kola Peninsula, where apatites are mined, and Kazakhstan, a supplier of phosphorites.

In addition to fertilizers, the plant produces related products such as fodder precipitate, sodium fluorosilicon, phosphogypsum, nitric acid.

All products comply with international standards and are certified. At the same time, the enterprise actively uses a system of wasteless and wasteless production. The plant has a special environmental service that monitors harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Several foreign countries are regular buyers of Meleuzovsky plant products: Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Serbia.

Products and services

The plant produces 3 types of main products.

  • Ammonium nitrate - nitrogen-containing mineral fertilizer. It is produced in the form of white granules. It is used in agriculture and industry. Magnesium nitrate (magnesia additive) is added to ammonium nitrate to bind water molecules, which prevents caking.

  • Phosphogypsum - compound in the form of a white powder, used in land reclamation for desalinization, as well as to reduce the acidity of the soil. Phosphogypsum is also used to accelerate composting processes along with organic additives and biologics.

  • Non-concentrated nitric acid HNO3 - poisonous transparent yellowish liquid. Produced for the internal needs of the enterprise. Nitric acid salts (nitrates) are nitrogen fertilizers.

Application

Mineral fertilizers - This is the result of chemical reactions, while organic fertilizers are formed in the process of decomposition of the waste products of living organisms. Therefore, they differ in composition, structure, and speed of impact.

Since the concentration of chemical elements in mineral fertilizers is higher, the result is manifested faster and more actively, and a much smaller amount of funds is required. With the help of mineral fertilizers, you can quickly and effectively increase the lack of any chemical element in the soil... Organic matter acts more slowly and for a longer time, it must be introduced into the soil in a sufficiently large volume.

In order to use mineral fertilizers correctly and not harm nature, you need to know how they differ from organic fertilizers and what are their features.

When applying mineral fertilizers, you must strictly follow the instructions for the amount and time of use., since with prolonged and improper use, it is possible to harm and disrupt the biological balance, because both the excess and the lack of any element equally negatively affect the growth and development of plants. Organic additives to the soil, on the contrary, improve its structure, make it more moisture-absorbing and loose soil, but this requires much more time and the amount of fertilizer applied.

Nitrogen fertilizer in the form ammonium nitrate, produced by the Meleuzovsky combine, is one of the main and main, which accelerates the growth and development of agricultural crops. It is recommended to apply it on heavy soils in spring and autumn when plowing simultaneously with other fertilizers, on light soils - just before sowing for cultivation. This is due to the fact that mineral fertilizers are easily washed out of the soil during melting snow and heavy rains.

It is also important to know that nitrogen fertilizers are acidic in structure and, when used systematically, increase the acidity of the soil.

Therefore, to neutralize the acidity of the soil, liming of the soil with dolomite flour or ash is required.
