Many gardeners grow grapes on their plots. This culture is often affected by various diseases. For effective control of diseases, special medicinal fungicides are most often used. Today we will talk about one such drug, which is called "Strobi".

general description

The therapeutic composition for fruit plants "Strobi" belongs to a special category of strobulins. It is produced on the basis of kresoxim-methyl. The component is a strong natural antibiotic.

The fungicide is in the form of small granules with a light brown color. It has a faint sulfur-like odor. The drug belongs to the third hazard category.

The substance allows to treat various diseases of grapes. It easily destroys harmful microorganisms, but at the same time the composition does not cause any harm to people, animals, as well as bees pollinating plants and the plants themselves.

The low toxicity of the substance allows for therapeutic and prophylactic procedures at any time of the growing season, including during the flowering period. Spraying with a fungicide can be carried out even on wet leaves, since the preparation is resistant to atmospheric precipitation and is not washed out by rain.

"Strobi" is considered a universal remedy, as it destroys the mycelium of fungi, has a disinfectant effect on the soil, heals damaged crops from most fungal diseases.

After applying the medicinal solution to the grape plant, it begins to gradually disperse through all the leaves, forming a thin protective film on their surface. In this case, the composition will independently be evenly distributed over the leaf blades, even when spraying them on only one side.

The drug can be purchased at a specialty store at a relatively low cost. Its application is independent of the ambient temperature. Work can be done at a temperature of only 1 degree Celsius.

Appointment

Fungicide "Strobi" is most often used for various fungal diseases of grapes.

The composition has a systemic-local effect, while suppressing harmful fungi, destroying all formed spores and significantly reduces the rate of spread of the disease.

The substance allows you to effectively fight a number of diseases, including:

  • anthracnose;
  • scab;
  • gray and white rot;
  • black spot;
  • oidium;
  • white rust;
  • rubella;
  • powdery mildew;
  • hilar cancer;
  • late blight;
  • tinder fungus.

It should be noted that in order to achieve a positive result in the eradication of the listed diseases, it is necessary to carry out several sprays with the described medicinal composition. It is best to combine it with other substances of a similar effect.

The composition has a therapeutic and protective effect on fruit bushes. In addition, this fungicide is often used for preventive measures. Timely processing of the crop with the "Strobi" composition will prevent the appearance of pests and diseases on vegetation.

Instructions for use

To achieve maximum effect, all treatments with this fungicide should be carried out in strict accordance with the instructions.

To prepare the solution, take 2 grams of granules, which are stirred in clean water (8 liters). The liquid should be at room temperature.You can dilute the composition in any clean container that is suitable in volume.

If the grapes are sick with scab or powdery mildew, then in this case, you should use 5 grams of the drug per 10 liters of water.

This amount of solution will be enough to process 5-8 fruit bushes.

Before spraying diseased plants with a ready-made composition, pruning should be carried out. During this procedure, all diseased and dead shoots are removed. First, it is necessary to treat the ground around the trunk with a disinfectant.

Not only leaf blades are processed, but also the soil around the plant, branches. The solution should be applied twice a week. In this case, the last spraying should be carried out 30 days before the start of the ripe harvest.

However, even with strict adherence to the basic rules of working with the drug, it is quite difficult to completely cure a sick grape bush. If last year the treatment was carried out three times, then the total lesion volume may decrease by about 50-70%.

The mycelium of harmful fungi will not completely die right away. And the substance itself will begin to decompose after a while.

Later, the mushrooms will begin to actively grow and multiply again. To destroy them, another fungicide should be applied after 7-10 days, but this will need to be done in minimal proportions. The most commonly used means are "Tiovit" and "Quadris".

In order not to provoke addiction in grapes, grapes can be treated with medicinal compounds belonging to other categories. But you should first check the compositions of these drugs for compatibility.

Fungicides of this type are predominantly used with various growth stimulants, other fungicides, insecticides and nutritional supplements.

Complex treatments with several medicinal compounds at once will allow not only to cure the affected grape bushes, but also provide reliable protection of vegetation from new diseases and pests.

"Strobi" categorically cannot be combined with preparations containing copper, including copper sulfate and Bordeaux liquid. And also you can not combine it with fertilizers containing copper, iron and zinc.

An illiterate combination of drugs can lead to the fact that the mixtures will simply begin to exfoliate, lose all their medicinal properties, that is, become ineffective in eradicating diseases.

You need to understand that it is spraying that is considered the most effective method of using this drug for plants, characterized by a low evaporation rate. This property also contributes to the formation of a protective gas shell around the shrubs.

To make it more convenient to work with such a fungicide, you need to purchase a special sprayer. Its capacity is filled to half of the required volume.

The finished solution is poured into the tank gradually, while constantly stirring it.

Then water is added to the same container to the required volume. Then the sprayer is tightly closed. It is shaken vigorously several times, then you can start the procedure. Processing is recommended in the early morning or late afternoon.

Protective period and waiting period

Spraying with such a solution can be carried out throughout the entire growing season, at the end of which a positive effect can be seen. The protective effect is observed from two to three weeks.

Precautionary measures

When working with such a substance, it is recommended to use a special suit, a respirator, goggles and rubber gloves. The drug should be kept away from open flames. You should also not use the fungicide near water bodies.

If the substance accidentally gets into the eyes during work, they must be immediately and thoroughly rinsed with clean water.

If the composition gets on the skin, they also need to be thoroughly rinsed with plenty of water. If you accidentally inhale the vapors of the solution, you should stay outside for a while.If the component gets on the clothes, it is better to immediately rinse it well or wash it with detergents, and then dry it.
