• there should be a distance of at least 25 cm from the toilet on the left and right sides;
• there should be more than 60 cm of free space in front of the toilet;
• in front of the sink, the free space should be at least 70 cm.

The size of the restrooms in multi-storey buildings has always been dictated by SNiPs. Since the basic standards have not changed for decades, then the size of the toilet rooms will not vary much.

In many older style flats, toilets are minimal in all respects. However, this does not hurt to make this room a comfortable room with free space.
