The timing of planting seedlings and planting in the ground

Seeds are sown from March 20 to April 10, approximately 50-60 days before being placed in a permanent place. The containers with the planted seeds are covered with foil and kept at temperatures from +23 to +25 degrees. After the emergence of seedlings, they are transferred to a sunny place, the temperature is reduced to +14. After a week, it can be raised to +18. After 20 days, the seedlings are fed with a solution of wood ash. Then every two weeks, first with mineral, then organic fertilizers. 10 days before planting on the site, young bushes begin to harden and watered with the "Athlete" preparation.

Seedlings dive when 2 true leaves appear. They are transferred to the beds from May 15 to June 5. It is recommended to place it outdoors only after the frost has ended. If the plants are planted earlier, then they are covered with a film at night and during a cold snap.

The culture prefers light soddy soil enriched with humus. When planting in the hole, add 2 tbsp. l. superphosphate and 1 tbsp. l. potassium sulfate. Saplings are tied up and watered with warm water. The next watering is carried out only after 12 days.

Growing tomato seedlings is an extremely important process, because it largely depends on whether the gardener can harvest at all.All aspects must be taken into account, from seedbed preparation to planting in the ground.

Landing scheme

Placed at intervals of 50x40 cm, planting density 3 bushes per 1 sq. m.

Planting a tomato is a very important and painstaking business. In order to get a good harvest of tomatoes, you need to competently approach the issue of planting. When planting a tomato in the ground, it is necessary to take into account many factors - correctly determine the timing, prepare the soil, correctly calculate the distance between plants, take into account the rules of crop rotation.

Growing and care

The bush is formed in 1-2 stems, a garter and removal of stepsons are required every two weeks. The lower leaves are removed when 1-2 fruit clusters are ripe. In August, pinch the upper stem. During flowering, to improve tying, spray with a solution of boric acid per 1 liter of water, take 1 g of the substance.

Water regularly and not abundantly every 7 days, but the ground should not dry out. You can organize drip irrigation. In a dry season, watering is more intensive, in a rainy season, the frequency of watering is reduced. The greenhouse is recommended to be ventilated daily.

During the season, they are fed 3 times: during the growth period, fertilizers with magnesium and nitrogen are required, during flowering, formulations containing boron, phosphorus and potassium are applied, during the fruiting period, you can feed it every 2 weeks, spraying with Boroplus, Ovary. The beds must be loosened, weeds removed, mulched.

Watering tomatoes is not difficult. After planting, the plant is watered at such intervals that the soil remains moist. In dry weather, when it does not rain for a long time, watering can be carried out every day, but usually the beds with tomatoes are irrigated 2-3 times a week.
The methods of tying tomato bushes can vary significantly, depending on the availability of available material, the method of fixation, and also the variety. In general, it is recommended to adhere to the following scheme: first, the central stems are grabbed, and then, as the fruits ripen, the lateral branches.
One of the important conditions for tomato agricultural technology is the correct formation of the bush. The formation of tomato bushes means performing the following steps: pinching, pinching, trimming the leaves, normalizing the ovaries.

A plant needs different micronutrients at each stage of growth. All fertilizers can be divided into two groups: mineral and organic. Folk remedies are often used: iodine, yeast, bird droppings, eggshells.

It is important to observe the rate and period of feeding. This also applies to folk remedies and organic fertilizers.

Disease and pest resistance

They are practically not affected by gray and black rot, late blight and tobacco mosaic virus. When the first signs of the disease appear, they are treated with a solution of biofungicides or a Bordeaux mixture.

The most dangerous pests are the Colorado potato beetle, spider mites, aphids and wireworms. The drugs are effective: "Fufanon", "Quadris", "Aktara". You can use folk remedies: spraying with an infusion of wormwood and onion husks (2-3 tbsp. L. Pour 0.5 liters of boiling water, insist for 24 hours).

Treatment and prevention of diseases and pests
When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, diseases often occur due to a violation of the temperature regime and excessive humidity. The most common diseases are fungal (late blight, cladosporium, rot).
The fight against diseases and pests of tomatoes in open areas can be quite difficult. This is because nightshades are exposed to a wide variety of pathogens and insect pests.

Resistant to adverse weather conditions

The variety is considered resistant to low temperatures, tolerates short-term frosts well.

Growing regions

Suitable for disembarkation throughout the Russian Federation, including Siberia. In the southern and central regions of Russia, it can be placed in open beds.

Review overview

Gardeners speak warmly about this type of tomato: very tasty, requires almost no maintenance, does not get sick, forms few stepsons, can be grown from your own seeds. Among the shortcomings, they call not a very high yield and not such an intense color of the fruits, as indicated on the package with seeds. There is a positive experience of growing outdoors in the Urals. It is noticed that in unfavorable years the taste of the tomato becomes more bland and watery.
