The year of approval of the variety is 2021. But this does not mean that the culture is not tested, and nothing is known about it. Sugarloaf tomato is produced by two well-known agricultural firms: Uralsky Dachnik and Siberian Garden.
The crop belongs to indeterminate varieties and is intended for cultivation in greenhouses, according to the originators. The cultivation region includes almost the entire territory of Russia.
Description of the variety
The bushes are considered tall and have a length of 180-200 cm in greenhouses, in the open field the bush grows up to 150-170 cm. The trunk is powerful, well-developed and has unlimited growth force. That is why many gardeners recommend pinching the top of the stem at a height of 180-190 cm after all the ovaries are formed. Then all the nutrients will go to the formation of fruits, and not to the growth and release of stepsons.
The crown is semi-spreading and slightly branched. Therefore, it is advisable to tie them to a support immediately after planting the bushes in the ground. This will also help keep the branches from breaking under the weight of the vegetables.
