• First of all, one should highlight the availability and low cost of pallets. They can be purchased at any hardware store, bought on the market for next to nothing, or even obtained for free at a grocery store, since many businesses no longer need them after unloading the goods.

• The material is easy to process and use, even a beginner in the construction business can handle the manufacture of a terrace using pallets, the main thing is to carefully study the sequence of actions. Some craftsmen are able to rebuild a veranda in one day.

• The mobility of the pallet deck is another plus. If there are enough men in the house, it can be moved to another part of the garden. The tree is unpretentious in maintenance, it will perfectly be able to withstand increased moisture and temperature changes, but provided it is properly processed.

• drill;
• nails;
• 20 pallets 100x120 cm for the floor;
• 12 pallets 80x120 cm for a sofa;
• 8 additional 100x120 for the rear bulkhead.

You will also need a few additional pallets for decoration.

Before building a summer terrace in the country, you should first of all choose the right place. You can make a veranda attached to the house, whose floor will be an extension of the porch. Or choose a remote area in the shade of trees, thus, you get a covered structure. It will be cozy here both on a hot day and on a cool evening.

Let's consider how to make a pallet terrace step by step.

• First of all, you should clean the boards, removing all the dirt from them.
• This is followed by sanding, which will make the surface of the pallets smooth and even.
• The next step is a primer, which is necessary to prevent wood from rotting and to create a paint base that will lie much smoother and stay on the surface longer.
• Upon completion of the preparatory work, the pallets can be painted. Choose any color you like and apply it to the boards. Let the pallets dry naturally. Leave them outside for a day in good weather, and the next morning you can already start styling.Remember that each piece should lie loose and not touch the other.
• Cover the selected area with geotextiles, which will prevent the boards from contacting the ground and extend the operating life of the terrace. Next, you just need to stack the pallets, tightly applying them to each other.
• Then it is necessary to screw the back wall to the floor, and in front of it lay out a sofa, consisting of several pallets lying on top of each other. The table is made in the same way.
• The matter remains with the decor. Place foam mattresses and soft pillows on the sofa. Multi-colored pillowcases will add zest to the interior. The table can be covered with a tablecloth and a vase of fruit or flowers can be placed on it.
