Many summer residents and rural residents are engaged in growing vegetables in greenhouses. In a harsh climate, this is the only opportunity to taste your own, organic tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. Currently, the market offers a huge selection of greenhouses. The products of the Russian company Volia are in great demand.

Features and types

The Volya company has been producing greenhouses for over 20 years, has a dealer network in various cities of the Russian Federation. The greenhouses of the Volya company are distinguished by good quality, well thought-out design, and a variety of models. The frames of the products are made of galvanized steel, therefore they are not subject to corrosion. The profile is used in different thicknesses and widths, in shape it resembles a man's hat with brim.

This type of profile has four differently directed angles of stiffness, which makes it as strong as possible.

The top of the greenhouse is covered with polycarbonate. This durable, durable material creates optimal conditions for plant growth and development. Sowing seeds and planting seedlings can be a month earlier than usual. In the fall, the duration of the harvest also increases.

The assortment of the Volia company includes the following types:

  • "Dachnaya-Strelka" - due to the construction of the roof (elongated-conical shape), the snow rolls off it without lingering;
  • "Dachnaya-Strelka 3.0" - improved modification of the previous model;
  • "Dachnaya-Optima" - robust construction designed for heavy snowfall;
  • "Dachnaya-Treshka" - differs in the presence of a reinforced frame that can withstand a large snow load;
  • "Dachnaya-Dvushka" - is ideal for small areas;
  • "Orion" - characterized by the presence of an opening roof;
  • "Present M2" - presented as a hangar type, and also equipped with an opening roof;
  • "Dachnaya-2DUM" - is one of the first models of the company, it can be increased to the required size;
  • "Dachnaya-Eco" - budget option, as well as "Dachnaya-2DUM";
  • "Delta" - has a gable removable roof, in the form of a house;
  • "Lotus" - a greenhouse with a conveniently opening lid (“breadbox” principle).

Above is a brief description of the models. In order to find out the details about the greenhouse you like, you can go directly to the official website of the Volya company or to regional representatives.

Design options: advantages and disadvantages

By the type of construction, greenhouses "Volia" are divided into several types.

  • Gable greenhouses with a house-shaped roof. One of the presented models is "Delta". Its advantages include the presence of a removable roof, as well as useful and convenient use of the area, since the space around the edges is not lost. The downside, according to some buyers, is the flaw in some nodes. The disadvantage of other greenhouses with a similar roof is that snow must be dropped from them in winter, otherwise the structure may collapse.
  • Hangar-type models are well thought out with good wind protection. Due to the shape of the roof, the greenhouses are able to withstand a large snow load. Plants are in comfortable conditions, as they receive uniform illumination, and modern material traps destructive ultraviolet rays.The disadvantage of this type of construction is the need to monitor the amount of snow that has fallen and promptly dump it from the greenhouse.

Installation and assembly: how to do it right?

The service life of the greenhouse depends on how the greenhouse is installed and assembled. If everything is done correctly, stable yields of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers will be ensured for years to come.

Preparatory work includes the following actions:

  • choose a suitable place, since sunlight must hit the plants evenly, from all sides;
  • prepare and level the site. If this is not done, it will be impossible to install the structure correctly.

Greenhouses made by Volia can be placed directly on the ground without using a foundation.

To do this, follow these steps:

  • dig grooves around the perimeter with a depth and width of a shovel bayonet;
  • install the assembled frame to the prepared place;
  • align it by level: vertical, horizontal, diagonal;
  • fill the grooves with earth and tamp;
  • fix polycarbonate - first on the ends, sidewalls;
  • then cover the roof.

Greenhouse "Dachnaya-Treshka"

Dachnaya-Treshka is an improved form of the Dachnaya-2DUM greenhouse. It differs from the prototype with a reinforced frame, as well as additional struts. As a result, the maximum snow load is increased to 180 kg / m².

Pros and cons of the model

The advantages of the Dachnaya-Treshka model include the following features:

  • compactness of packaging, if necessary, the kit can be taken away in a car with a trailer;
  • ease of use - a height of more than two meters allows a person of any height to work comfortably inside the structure;
  • there is enough space in the greenhouse for three beds with aisles;
  • the galvanized frame is highly resistant to corrosion.

    This option also has some disadvantages, namely:

    • the structure may not withstand too much snow load;
    • assembling a collapsible frame will be quite difficult for an inexperienced assembler, since it contains a large number of parts.

    Frame parameters

    The Dachnaya-Treshka model has standard dimensions: the width is 3 meters and the height is 2.1 meters. The buyer chooses the length according to his needs. The offered options are 4, 6, 8 m. If necessary, it can be increased to the desired mark.

    The basic configuration includes the following elements:

    • prefabricated frame details;
    • mounting screws and nuts;
    • door, end, loop seals;
    • doors and vents on both sides;
    • racks for installation in the ground.

      Additionally, you can purchase items such as:

      • side vents;
      • partitions;
      • shelves;
      • galvanized beds;
      • installation for drip irrigation;
      • automatic ventilation system;
      • greenhouse heating set.

      Location, foundation and assembly

      The distance from the greenhouse to buildings, tall trees and fences should be at least two meters. Otherwise, snow or ice, falling on it, can deform or completely break the structure. And also it is impossible to install the greenhouse next to the carriageway, as dust eats into the coating, and the plants will lack light.

      The best location for a greenhouse is the south or southeast side of the site. It is good if a capital structure serves as a cover from the north.

      With respect to the cardinal points, the greenhouse is, if possible, positioned with its ends to the east and west.

      Before deciding to put the greenhouse on the foundation, you should consider all the advantages and disadvantages of this installation method and decide whether you need it.

      The presence of a foundation has the following advantages:

      • protection from pests, rodents and soil frosts;
      • the design more reliably withstands strong winds;
      • heat loss is reduced.

        Minuses:

        • you need to take a more responsible approach to choosing a place, since it will be very time consuming to move the greenhouse;
        • the installation process becomes more complicated, more time and effort is spent.For example, when building a brick foundation, you will have to wait about a week for it to set. And if you pour it from concrete, then ten days;
        • additional costs will be required for building materials (brick, cement, crushed stone, sand, reinforcement);
        • if you pour a concrete strip foundation, one person cannot cope, the solution hardens quickly;
        • as a result, the payback period of the greenhouse is increased.

        To make the foundation, you need to perform the following steps:

        • clear the site;
        • make markings along the length and width of the greenhouse;
        • dig a ditch 30–40 cm deep and 15–20 cm wide;
        • carefully level and tamp the bottom, cover the sand with a layer of 10 cm;
        • pour water over and seal well again;
        • put the formwork, boards are used for its manufacture;
        • prepare a solution: cement grade M200, crushed stone and sand mix in a ratio of 1: 1: 2;
        • pour the foundation, laying it with reinforcement (metal rod);
        • after about one or one and a half weeks, the formwork is removed;
        • to increase the service life, waterproofing (roofing material or bitumen) is applied.

          When building the foundation, one more important point must be taken into account: during pouring, anchor bolts with a length of 50 cm and a diameter of 20 mm are installed. The immersion depth in concrete should be at least 30 cm, on the surface - 20 cm or more. The frame can be screwed to the bolts with metal wire.

          A greenhouse fixed in this way is able to withstand any natural disasters.

          After choosing a place and pouring the foundation, the most difficult part of the work begins. - from many parts you need to assemble the frame of the future greenhouse. Usually at this stage, many novice summer residents come to a dead end. However, as they say, "the eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing." One has only to assemble the greenhouse yourself once, to delve into this matter, as it becomes clear that there is nothing very complicated in it. It's just that the first time you have to spend more time.

          The main problem is that the instructions from the manufacturer contain mainly diagrams, there is very little text. Besides, it is not enough just to read, every detail has to be defined. To some extent, the markings on each element are intended to help with this. Connect the parts at the factory holes with the supplied bolts and nuts. You don't need to drill or buy anything extra. It is better to work with gloves so as not to injure your hands on sharp edges.

          After the greenhouse is assembled and installed, it is covered with polycarbonate.

          Before starting work, you need to check the correctness of the design again using the building level.

          Then you can go directly to the installation of the coating, to do this, follow these steps:

          • cut off 3 meters from the whole polycarbonate sheet;
          • attach a piece to the end and outline the trim line;
          • cut out a pattern;
          • make the rest of the markup according to the instructions.

          Important! Note the side where there are inscriptions on the tape. It is UV protected and must be fixed outward. When the film has been removed, the sides cannot be distinguished.

          If installed incorrectly, polycarbonate will quickly deteriorate.

          After the ends are closed, they begin to cover the sides.

          It should be remembered that:

          • polycarbonate should protrude evenly from all sides;
          • the next sheet is overlapped;
          • fixed along the edges of the frame.

          The last stage is the installation of doors and vents. In the process of work, you need to carefully tighten the screws to prevent deformation and destruction of the coating. The final touch is to seal the gaps between the foundation and the greenhouse with polyurethane foam. If there is not enough time and effort to carry out all the work described above, then you should entrust the assembly to professionals.

          Reviews of the greenhouses of the company "Volia"

          In general, Volia's models received good and excellent marks for quality and practicality.

          The following points are especially highlighted:

          • convenience, the design of the greenhouse is thought out to the smallest detail;
          • you can choose the right size;
          • the option of installation without a foundation is provided, which means that, if necessary, you can easily move to another place;
          • there are vents for ventilation;
          • models with increased snow load easily survive the winter, the rest of the snow still needs to be removed;
          • if you treat the work carefully and thoughtfully, then the assembly, installation and installation are not difficult.

          In addition to positive reviews, there are also negative reviews.

          Basically, the following points are noted:

          • some sections in the instructions are incomprehensible, there is little text, and the diagrams are poorly readable;
          • sometimes there is a low quality of parts and fasteners, holes are not drilled or completely absent;
          • incompleteness, you have to buy missing items.
