Growing and care
When planting Action beets, it is important to consider the rules of crop rotation. It will grow well after cucumbers, pumpkins, zucchini. However, unfavorable previous crops will be potatoes, onions, radishes, radishes, as well as turnips, cabbage.
The soil must be fertile. If there is loam on the site, they can be ennobled by the introduction of humus. To fertilize crops, live organic matter is not used, since it contains too much nitrates. Organic matter will have a detrimental effect on both the roots and the herbaceous parts of the plant. If mullein and bird droppings were introduced to the site, they can only be used for planting Action beets in a year.
Crop care includes standard procedures such as watering, loosening, mulching, thinning, feeding.
Beetroot tolerates cold snaps, therefore it is widely grown in the open field. When planting beets, you need to correctly determine the sowing time, choose a suitable place, prepare the beds, and do pre-sowing seed treatment.
Disease and pest resistance
Taking into account that Action F1 is a hybrid variety bred by Dutch specialists, it is able to independently resist both diseases and attacks of insect pests. It is important to observe proper crop care and not forget to use preventive measures.
