The Schaub Lorenz group of companies was formed in 1953 through the merger of the telecommunications company C. Lorenz AG, founded in 1880, and the company G. Schaub Apparatebau-GmbH, established in 1921. engaged in the production of radio electronics. In 1988, the company was bought by the Finnish giant Nokia, and in 1990 the German brand and its divisions, engaged in the development of household appliances, were acquired by the Italian company General Trading. In the first half of the 2000s, several European companies joined the concern, and in 2007 the General Trading group of companies was re-registered in Germany and renamed Schaub Lorenz International GmbH.

At the same time, the de facto country of manufacture of the majority of Schaub Lorenz washing machines is Turkey, where most of the concern's production facilities are currently located.

The company's products have all the quality and safety certificates required for sale in the Russian Federation and EU countries. When choosing the motors used, much attention is paid to their efficiency, therefore all models of the company have a rather high energy efficiency class of at least A +, while most of the models belong to A ++, and the most modern ones have A +++ class, that is, the highest possible ... All models use Eco-Logic technology, which in cases where the drum of the machine is loaded to less than half of the maximum capacity, automatically reduces the amount of water and electricity consumed by 2 times, and also reduces the duration of washing in the selected mode. Thereby the operation of such equipment will be much cheaper than using analogs from other manufacturers.

The bodies of all units are made using Boomerang technology, which not only increases their strength, but also significantly reduces noise and vibration. Thanks to this technical solution, the noise from all models during washing does not exceed 58 dB, and the maximum noise during spinning is 77 dB. All products use a robust polypropylene tank and a robust stainless steel drum. At the same time, like some models from Hansa and LG, the drum of most models is made with Pearl Drum technology. The peculiarity of this solution is that, in addition to the standard perforation, the walls of the drum are covered with a scattering of hemispherical protrusions similar to pearls. The presence of these protrusions allows you to avoid things catching on the walls of the drum during washing (and especially when spinning), as well as prevent threads and fibers from clogging the perforations. The narrowest of all the company's models, with a depth of only 362 mm. It has a power of 1.85 kW, which allows spinning at a speed of up to 800 rpm with a noise level of up to 74 dB. Maximum drum loading - 4 kg. It is possible to adjust the water temperature and speed in the spin mode. Energy efficiency class A +. This option can be purchased for an amount of about 19,500 rubles. Body color - white.

Another narrow version with a depth of 416 mm. With a power of 1.85 kW, it supports spinning at a maximum speed of 1000 rpm (maximum noise 77 dB). Its drum can hold up to 6 kg of items. The door with a diameter of 47 cm is equipped with a wide opening mechanism. Thanks to the use of a more efficient engine has an energy efficiency class A ++ at a not very high price (about 22,000 rubles)... The model is made in white colors, while a variation with a silver case is available, bearing the designation SLW MG6131.

In fact, it is a variant of the SLW MC6131 model with similar characteristics.

Most of the characteristics of this variant are similar to the previous model.

In fact, it is a modification of the previous model with a deep black tinted tank door. The top cover is not removable in this version.

This model differs from machines from the 6132 line only in design, namely, in the presence of a silver edging around the door. The MW6133 version has a transparent door and a white body, the MC6133 has a black tinted drum door, and the MG 6133 version combines a tinted door with a silver body color.

The removable top cover allows the machines of this series to be used as recessed under other surfaces (for example, under a table or inside a cabinet), and the wide opening of the door with a diameter of 47 cm makes it easier to load and unload the tank.

This variant differs from the models from the superior 6133 line in an elegant sky-blue color of the body and an increased spin speed up to 1200 rpm (unfortunately, the noise in this mode will be up to 79 dB, which is higher than in previous models).

It differs from the previous line in the elegant black color of the case and the inability to remove the top cover.

This option differs from the previous model in beige colors. There is also the MC5133 model, which features a light pink (so-called powdery) color.

This index hides a variation of the same MC5131 in brown color scheme.

The most expensive (about 33,000 rubles), powerful (2.2 kW) and roomy (8 kg, depth 55.7 cm) model in the assortment of the German company. The set of functions is the same as for MC5131, the colors are white.

The first thing to consider when choosing is the maximum load. If you live alone or together, models with a 4kg drum (eg MC5531) will be sufficient. If you have a child, you should consider purchasing a car that can hold at least 6 kg. Finally, families with many children should consider models with a load of 8 kg or more (which means that from the entire model range of the German concern, only the SLW TC7232 is suitable for them).

The next important factor is the size of the machine. If you are limited in space, choose narrow options, if not, you can purchase a deeper (and roomy) machine.

Do not forget about the functionality of the models in question. The larger the list of modes and the range of regulation of different washing and spinning parameters, the more effective washing and spinning of things from a wide variety of materials will be, and the less chances that some of the things will be damaged during the washing process.

All other things being equal it is worth giving preference to products with the highest possible (A +++ or A ++) energy efficiency class - after all, they are not only more modern, but also more economical.

Most buyers of Schaub Lorenz equipment leave positive reviews about it. The authors call the main advantages of these washing machines robustness, build quality and sleek design that blends futurism with classic, clean lines.

Many owners of this technique also note good washing quality, sufficient variety of modes, low water and electricity consumption, not very high noise level.

Authors of negative reviews on the company's products complain that none of the company's models is equipped with an audible signaling of the end of the wash, which makes it necessary to periodically check the condition of the machine. And also some of the owners of such equipment note that the noise level during spinning at maximum speed for these machines is higher than that of most analogues. Finally, some buyers consider the cost of German technology too high, especially given its Turkish assembly.

Opinion on models with an opaque drum door (such as the MC6133 and MG5133) are divided among experts and regular reviewers. Proponents of this decision note its elegant appearance, while opponents complain about the impossibility of visual control of the washing.

Many reviewers consider the MC5531 to be the most controversial model. On the one hand, due to its shallow depth, it has a relatively low price and is placed where it is impossible to put other models, on the other hand, its low capacity does not allow washing a full set of ordinary bed linen in it at one time.
