A modern washing machine is a real lifesaver for every housewife, so any malfunction of it causes a lot of anxiety. It happens that in the process of using the equipment, the DE error appears on the display, and the washing is not carried out - therefore, the question immediately arises of what such a malfunction is and how it can be corrected.

The DE code in Samsung washing machines is an abbreviation for Door Error, which in translation from English means "door error". Most often, this problem can be solved on your own, but sometimes you have to turn to the services of a professional master.

When a DE error occurs, users face one of the following problems:

• it is not possible to close the SM door and start washing;
• the door closes, but it does not block;
• the washing machine does not open at the end of the wash.

On machines without an electronic display, indicators usually indicate an error - they light up all at once.

We have already established that the DE encoding appears on the monitor of a Samsung typewriter when the hatch door is not fully closed. Let's consider the most common causes of such a malfunction.

The door of the machine does not close, the washing process simply does not start - all this means that the hatch locking mechanism has broken down. Such a problem may arise not only at the beginning of the operation of the unit, but also at the end - then the door remains completely locked at the end of all work cycles, and it will be impossible to open it on our own.

• if, on the contrary, there is too little laundry, you need to turn off the unit, add the laundry to the required weight, and repeat the cycle.

The problem often lies in the equipment control unit. In this case, it is worth giving the machine a "rest" - disconnect it from the power supply for 15-20 minutes, and then start it again. If the error made itself felt for the first time, then this method can help.

It is possible that the cause of the malfunction is hidden in the electrician - carefully check the contacts of the lock door.

So, if the DE error is displayed, and the hatch does not block, or at the end of the wash it is not possible to open the door, it means that a complete replacement of the UBL lock is needed.

If the error code is shown at the very beginning of the wash cycle, then, probably, the display module (microcircuit) has worn out and has worked out its entire working life. In the overwhelming majority of cases, it can be repaired - for this you have to completely renew all the radioelements burned out on the board. If the breakdown is serious, then you have to change the module completely.

If the head of the latch physically cannot get into the door lock, most likely pressure has been applied to it, and only replacing the hinge can help.

Sometimes the cause of breakage is damage to the lock, because of this, the door closes, but does not lock with a click. Such a lock must be repaired or replaced.
