- Pearl drums. On their surface there are many hemispheres resembling a scattering of pearls of different sizes. The essence of this idea is to protect the laundry as much as possible from contact with the holes and provide more gentle care.
- Cell drums. The drum, in which the inner part is made in the form of convex hexagons, reminiscent of a honeycomb, is an innovation. The advantage of honeycomb drums is that the raised hexagons completely protect the laundry from contact with the holes. As for the holes themselves, in such a design they are very small. Small holes keep the soap solution inside longer and prevent foreign objects from entering the tank and damaging it.
Therefore, if the buyer thinks about a more careful attitude to things when washing, then preference should be given to those models where the drum has not a smooth, but a convex surface.
Types by material of manufacture
The tank of the machine, in contrast to the drum, may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer in material of manufacture. Each type of tank has its own advantages and disadvantages. Stainless steel
