Stationary shelving

Stationary racks are specialized warehouse structures consisting of metal racks, beams and multi-tiered decks. These shelves take up a small area and make it easier to access the stored items.

In everyday life, in offices or banking organizations, the most relevant are universal designs for storing books, notebooks, magazines or archival documentation. For shopping centers, household and grocery stores, multi-level racks are used from a metal frame and shelves of different density and width, convenient for free access to the goods.

There are many types of shelving.

• Frontal. A very popular type, which greatly facilitates the loading and unloading of goods. It is very convenient for use in rooms with low or high temperatures.

• Archival. They are used in office or banking institutions, they are mounted with racks to the wall. Universal assemblies can be used as they are easy to operate.

• Medium cargo. They are of the pallet type, created for storing goods that cannot be stored on pallets. They are actively used to decorate a trading floor or small wholesale stores.

• Versatile designs. They are used in almost all areas, from offices, archives, banking organizations and ending with shops, small warehouses and private housing. The advantages are easy and quick assembly, shelf height adjustment. There are side restraints and interchamber partitions.

• Cantilever shelving structures. This type of shelving is used for storing long items. They are made in accordance with the requirements and characteristics of the goods. For safety reasons, these racks are anchored to the floor.

• Deep structure shelving. This type of storage is very convenient and spacious, designed for storing bulky and heavy materials or goods.

• Mezzanine shelving structures. Due to the existing fasteners on the shelves, they can be positioned on the racks at any distance from each other, which will allow you to store a variety of materials.

• Gravity shelving. They are very effective for the automation of a warehouse and storage of the same type of goods. The movement on the shelves is carried out using an inclined deck and rollers.

• Trade racks and showcases. For shops and shopping centers, turnover is very important. In this case, shelves with advertising brands are used, or they are selected according to the associative color for the product.

Shelving consoles have a wide range of uses. Basically, they are needed for long-term storage in a warehouse of various items, tools or goods in packaging film, cardboard, plastic or wooden containers.

The determination of the optimal stationary rack for various needs is carried out using several obvious criteria that help to ensure that you do not make a mistake in the choice. Let's consider all of them.

• Dimensions. Regardless of whether it is a residential building, a warehouse, a sales area or an industrial workshop, the structure to be purchased must correspond to the size of the room, fit normally in it and not interfere with the passage of people or the passage of loading equipment.
• Roominess. The rack is chosen to store a certain number of specific things - in principle, so that they fit there, effectively using the occupied space. For example, if you store tires on a rack in your garage, it is unwise to choose a model with 2.75 tires on the shelf - then almost a third of the width of the furniture will remain unused.
• Carrying capacity. The technical characteristics of each rack indicate what the maximum permissible load on each of the shelves is. It is not just impossible to exceed it - it is advisable not to load the flooring at full load, even within the limits permitted by the instructions. Remember that all factory measurements are very approximate and only valid for newly released products.
• Design. For a warehouse, this is not too important, but in the trading floor, at an exhibition or at home, it is extremely important that the rack fits into the interior both in color and style.
