For storing books, it is best to give preference to models with a depth of 25-30 cm.To place massive figurines and various decor, it is recommended to pay attention to solutions with a depth of 35-40 cm.
2. Stability. The most reliable models are those that have the ability to mount to a wall or ceiling. For safety reasons, furniture used in children's rooms must necessarily include a fastening system.
3. Manufacturing material. Products can be made of natural wood, MDF, chipboard, metal, glass or plastic.
4. A variation of the design. Open or closed systems, island, wall, cylindrical or suspended - the choice directly depends on the needs and personal preferences of the buyer.

Another important criterion is design. A modular shelving unit should fit into the existing interior of the room and successfully harmonize in color and design with other furnishings and decor.
