In addition, signal elements are applied to the clothes of traffic police officers and internal organs, as well as those who serve in the aviation and navy.

This equipment is divided into 3 classes. Grade 2 and 3 suits offer great protection and are recommended for workers dealing with serious situations where reflective clothing is a major requirement. It is these 3 characteristics that divide the signal workwear into classes. It is worth saying that some of the requirements are the same for each of them.

• The arrangement of horizontal stripes at a distance of at least 5 cm from each other. Thus, the material will be distributed most evenly, which makes a person noticeable at large distances or from different angles.
• For stripes on the bottom of the garment, there is a requirement to apply them at a distance of 5 cm from the edge.

Luminescent elements have different coefficients of retroreflection.Items with a high coefficient are needed for clothing such as special high visibility. The use of this equipment is necessary in particularly difficult conditions, for example, in thick fog or in a forest at night.

By standards, signal clothing should be made of the material most suitable for the application. For the most part, this applies to warm models operating at low temperatures. The rest of the requirements relate to the number of stripes and their properties.

In addition to the division into classes, there are also various requirements for the equipment. For example, a suit must contain the upper and lower parts of the equipment, as well as additional items of clothing, if provided for by a specific set. Raincoats should be waterproof and reusable, and overalls should have a certain number of pockets.
