For the manufacture of narrow cabinets, the following raw materials are used:

• Chipboard (coarse wood shavings). The advantage of products made from this material is its cheapness. Chipboard cabinets are available to every customer. Some products made from this material are sensitive to moisture. Often, manufacturers use formaldehyde resins when creating furniture from chipboard, which can adversely affect human health.
• MDF (finely dispersed fraction). This material is more durable. In the production of furniture from MDF, harmful impurities do not participate, which makes the material environmentally friendly. The cost of MDF cabinets is slightly higher than that of a chipboard headset.

• Natural wood. This raw material is quite expensive, therefore, natural wood cabinets are expensive.Raw materials are the most environmentally friendly material and furniture is the most luxurious.
• Metal. Such material is rarely used: metal cabinets are rather bulky, heavy, do not have an attractive appearance and are prone to corrosion.

When choosing a cabinet, it is important to consider its dimensions. Based on the size of the room and what will be stored in the closet, the convenience of using the furniture depends.

When buying, you need to consider:

• The height of the furniture. If a narrow set is intended for storing clothes on hangers, the height of the cabinet should be at least 180 cm.If small items will be stored in it, the height parameters can be from 100 cm.
• Depth. Usually it ranges from 30 to 50 cm. When choosing the depth of the cabinet, it is worth starting from the things that will be stored in it. If the furniture is intended for storing bulky items, the depth can be 60 cm.
• Width. This indicator is more variable and ranges from 40 to 100 cm. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the dimensions of the room in which the cabinet will be installed. For narrow wardrobes, width is key.

There are many models of narrow cabinets with different filling possibilities on the furniture market. When approaching the choice of a cabinet, it is necessary to take into account the degree of its functionality and capacity.

Typically, these cabinets have the following filling options:

• large compartments for storing bulky items (bed linen, blankets, travel bags and other large items);
• a compartment with a perpendicular bar used for placing clothes on hangers;
• shelves on which it is convenient to place small items;
• mezzanines located at the very top of the product (provided for things that are rarely used);
• small compartments for storing individual things of a certain shape (for example, umbrellas);
• boxes at the very bottom of the structure, in which it is convenient to store shoes.

In order for a narrow cabinet to be convenient to use and fit exactly into the interior of the room, when choosing, it is necessary to take into account the type of room and style.

When installing furniture in a bedroom, it is necessary to correlate the overall style of the interior and the harmony of the product with the rest of the furniture. The set in the bedroom is intended for storing bed linen, dresses and other clothes, so it is important to pay attention to the appearance of the wardrobe and the interior filling. Such furniture should accommodate bulky things.

The slim cabinet is perfect for kitchen installations. Such models have many shelves where it is convenient to store food, spices or dishes.

The option with the location in the hallway will also be a successful application: a wardrobe with mirrored doors in this case will help to visually expand the room.

You can install bathroom furniture to store personal care products and other supplies. The best choice for a bathroom would be a plastic cabinet (this material is resistant to high humidity). It is not recommended to install chipboard and wood cabinets in the bathroom: they do not tolerate moisture well and quickly lose their attractiveness.

When installing the headset, it is worth considering door models, which can be sliding and swinging. The sliding option has recently been very popular and is considered the most optimal.
