The rose is considered one of the most popular and demanded flowers in the whole world. They are used to compose bouquets of various themes, used in landscape design and as a decoration of local areas. There is a huge variety of types of roses, among which the category of two-tone is distinguished. This is exactly what the Arif variety is.

This variety was developed in Germany in 1994. Experts have developed a variety for group plantings or curbs. The main feature of the Arif rose is its two-color flowers. At the base, the color of the petals is white, and closer to the edges it becomes bright crimson. Color saturation increases gradually from the center of the bud to the edges.

The buds are cupped, and the opened flowers are goblet. Sizes - large (diameter from 8 to 10 centimeters). Large petals in large numbers form densely double flowers (their number varies from 45 to 50 petals). One stem grows from 1 to 4 buds. Rose Arifa has a rich citrus-mint aroma.

The shrubs are lush and powerful, while compact and ball-shaped. The height is 60-80 centimeters. The leaves are dark green in color and have a smooth texture with a glossy sheen. This variety is chosen due to its unusual and memorable color. Arifa looks harmoniously with other roses in pastel colors. The aroma retains its richness throughout the day.

• shoots grow stiff over time, impairing the ornamental qualities of the plant.

The Arif variety blooms profusely, but the buds open slowly. The bushes are constantly covered with charming flowers thanks to the repeated blooming.

The planting scheme depends on how sprawling the bushes are. And also the speed of plant development is taken into account. When growing compact plants, it is not necessary to maintain a gap of 50 centimeters between groups. When planting, a large distance is left between large and lush bushes - about two meters.

Note: as the bushes grow, they begin to bare their trunk, which eventually stiffens. This spoils the appearance of the plant, so it is advisable to plant lower varieties in the first row.

Rose Arifa is highly resistant to rain. And also the plant does not fade in the sun. The two-color variety boasts excellent frost resistance and resistance to diseases and dangerous insects. Frost resistance zone - 6 (from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius below zero).

Caring for this variety is simple, you just need to follow simple agricultural techniques. At the time of frost, it is advisable to protect the bushes with a light covering material, especially when growing young plants in the first years of growth, since during this period the bushes are only adapting to new conditions.

Roses are wrapped in the ground, forming a high hill out of it. Long shoots are gently bent to the ground and fixed. Fir branches are placed under the stems so that they do not come into contact with water.And also the bushes can be covered with a special material, which is sprinkled with earth for fixation.

Like many other varieties of roses, this variety prefers sunny areas. Natural lighting is needed for the full development of the plant and lush flowering. If necessary, supports are installed next to the bushes. They will help to give the plant a neat appearance and simplify maintenance. Before planting seedlings, the area must be cleared of weeds, debris, and leveled.

For fertilization, you can use ready-made store dressings, designed specifically for caring for roses of different varieties. Organics are also used, but they must be applied carefully. The best option is to cover the ground around the bushes with organic mulch. Roses are watered about once for two weeks (in hot weather, irrigation is carried out more often). It is advisable to carry out the work in the evening, during the hours of less solar activity.

If the temperature in the region does not fall below 15-20 degrees of frost, it is not necessary to cover the plants for the winter. Rose will endure such cold snaps without problems. Despite the frost resistance, most experts advise not to take risks, and to protect the bushes at least from strong gusts of wind.

In the northern regions, in which the temperature drops to about minus 30 and can stay at this mark for a long time, shelter is a must. Gardeners use both improvised materials (soil, dry grass, coniferous branches, straw) and special fiber.

To propagate the Arif rose, it is necessary to cut off the upper flexible and thin part, which is not needed. The rest of the shoot is cut into cuttings (with a section of about 0.5 centimeters). The number of cuttings depends on the size of the shoot.
