Mounting drywall sheets (gypsum plasterboard), you can easily damage the product by accidentally pinching the self-tapping screw. A bit with a limiter for the installation of gypsum boards is a special type of attachments that do not allow the self-tapping screw, when screwed with a drill or screwdriver, to damage the gypsum board. The stopper resembles a cup that is larger than the bit head. When twisting, the protective element rests on the sheet and does not allow the cap to penetrate into the body of the gypsum board. Thanks to such a limiter, the master does not have to worry about the tightening of the self-tapping screw.

If the work is carried out with gypsum board, then the nozzle should be chosen specifically for this type of building material, otherwise the likelihood that the sheet will be damaged increases significantly.

• The reliability and quality of the packing is checked by the "dipping" method. To do this, the nozzle is lowered into a box / bag with self-tapping screws. If one self-tapping screw is stuck, such a nozzle is not a good product. An excellent indicator is three elements per bit.
• The selection of the nozzle for screwing into the gypsum board occurs only after the purchase of fasteners.

• Length. If the installation work does not cause discomfort and takes place in convenient conditions, then a long nozzle is not needed. If manipulations are carried out in hard-to-reach places, then a long bit will best help to cope with the task. Most often, these models are used in the construction of niches, shelves and other structures.

• The service life of a bit depends on the material from which it is made. The highest quality alloy is chromium with vanadium. Tungsten-molybdenum-compound bits have proven their worth. Chinese-made nozzles deserve special attention from the buyer, since the percentage of defects in such products is quite high.
• The magnetized holder is a great addition to the attachment. With its help, the self-tapping screws are well fixed at the end of the bit, they do not fly off, and there is no need to hold them with your hands. Therefore, it is better to choose attachments with such an element.
