Cleanliness and order today are essential characteristics of any decent home, and you need to monitor their maintenance often and carefully. Without modern technology, in particular, a vacuum cleaner, this would be much more difficult, because the perception of the home by the guests largely depends on the choice of such a unit. Vacuum cleaner today can be found for all tastes, but one of the most famous brands is Hoover.

The word "hoover" in English literally means "vacuum cleaner", but this is not about enterprising manufacturers who decided to call the cat the Cat. Here the story is more reminiscent of the one with the copier, when the name of the company that first started to produce the copier, later began to be perceived as the name of the technique. So it is here - founded in the American Ohio in 1908, the company introduced the first-ever unit for cleaning the house, so the name of the brand stuck to it.

The success, of course, was overwhelming, because after ten years the products began to be exported, and not just anywhere, but to the UK. Soon, the company's own design office was opened here, and it was from here that household vacuum cleaners began to quickly spread throughout the world. Interestingly, over time, the American and European divisions of the company were completely separated and today have different owners, but both still have the right to use the trademark.

The modern range of products is supplemented by washing machines, drying machines, as well as steam cleaners, but vacuum cleaners remain the firm's specialty. Production, according to the fashion of recent decades, has long been withdrawn from the United States and European countries, therefore the company's vacuum cleaners, like everything else on the market, are Chinese. By the way, there is a brand plant in Russia, but you cannot find Russian branded vacuum cleaners on sale - the factory deals only with washing machines.

In our country, the attitude towards Chinese technology is still biased, but it should be remembered that in general, the manufacturer still remains American-European, therefore the quality level is monitored. At the same time, in many respects the company focuses on the market of post-Soviet countries, it has separate local sites for Russia, Ukraine and each of the Baltic countries, so there should be no problems with service, not to mention the purchase.

A vacuum cleaner is not the most expensive technique, but even with it you don't want to make a mistake, spending money in vain. Although Hoover is the ancestor of all vacuum cleaners, more than a hundred years have passed since then, a lot of competitors have appeared, and it can no longer be unequivocally asserted that this particular company makes the best equipment of this type in the world. Therefore, before buying, you should carefully weigh the pros and cons. Of course, you need to choose not only and not so much a brand as a specific model, because each has its own pros and cons, but a beginner would first decide on a brand.

First, let's see why Hoover vacuum cleaners, even 100 years after their invention, can be an excellent investment:

• the assembly of each model is of high quality, such a vacuum cleaner is reliable and durable;
• operating the company's products is simple and convenient, it is maneuverable enough to get even to hard-to-reach places;
• thorough cleaning is achieved by fairly hard brushes;
• for the needs of cleaning various surfaces, the manufacturer himself offers a wide variety of replaceable attachments for each model;
• with a relatively modest size and weight, each Hoover vacuum cleaner has an impressive suction power;
• Unlike any other world-renowned competitor, Hoover is actively working with the domestic market, therefore, in case of unforeseen difficulties, all problems are easily solved directly with the manufacturer.

Disadvantages, of course, are also present, but there are much fewer of them, and they are mentioned relatively rarely. So, consumers periodically complain that the case is not strong enough, and if handled carelessly, it can be damaged. In addition, many units from the Hoover range are still characterized by fairly high operating noise levels. Finally, special neo-filters, necessary for the optimal operation of modern vacuum cleaners, are for some reason not as widespread in our country as the Hoover vacuum cleaners themselves, which is why some consumers have difficulties in purchasing them.

Hoover offers consumers many different models of vacuum cleaners of all types, among which everyone could find something suitable for themselves. It makes no sense to consider absolutely all models, therefore we will single out at least the most popular ones today.

• Hoover HYP1600 019 - lightweight model for dry cleaning with a 3.5 liter dust collector with a 200 W suction power. It is not a bad option for cleaning small areas with a hard surface, given its extremely low cost, but in many cases its modest power is simply not enough.

• Hoover FD22RP 011 - rechargeable cordless vacuum cleaner of the vertical type, such are also called hand-held vacuum cleaners-mops. The battery charge of such a unit will last only 25 minutes, while it will charge as much as 6 hours, therefore such a model is suitable exclusively for solving small tasks. On the other hand, this is one of the best solutions for cleaning small rooms and storing the unit in the same place.

• Hoover TSBE2002 011 Sprint Evo Is one of the most criticized modern models. With a suction power of 240 W, such a vacuum cleaner produces a noise level of 85 dB, that is, it is able to "lift the dead to its feet." Practically the only serious advantage is compactness with all other things being equal, therefore the use is appropriate only when there is no one to complain about the noise.

• TSBE 1401 - one of the most popular models from this manufacturer. In general, it is a classic dry vacuum cleaner, which is not an example of budget and minimum characteristics. So, the suction power is already a relatively decent 270 W, a fine water filter is present. At the same time, the design assumes several small "bonuses" such as a filling sensor, automatic cable folding or a compartment for storing replaceable nozzles.

• Hoover TTE 2407 019 is considered one of the best modern models of this manufacturer, since the combination of price and quality is perfectly matched here. In terms of power, such a unit is suitable for almost any type of coating, however, it assumes only dry cleaning. A good advantage is the built-in power regulator, thanks to which more delicate coatings can be spared.

• Hoover TAT2421 019 - the technique is fundamentally different in comparison with all the above models. Its suction power is as much as 480 W, which allows cleaning any coverings and with any number of pets.As befits such a "monster", the package includes a full set of brushes for all occasions, the dust collector has a volume of 5 liters. This unit is quite loud, but with its power you should not be surprised at this.

• Hoover RA22AFG 019 - a stylish black device, which is an improved version of the mop vacuum cleaner. So, the battery power is enough here for 35 minutes of autonomous work, while 5 hours are enough for a full recharge of the battery.

• Hoover BR2230 - a variant of a washing vacuum cleaner from the brand for little money. This vacuum cleaner belongs to the category of cylindrical, it is quite compact and has a dust collector with a volume of only 2 liters. The machine is highly maneuverable and is well suited for daily cleaning of medium-sized areas.

• Hoover BR2020 019 - another modification, very similar to the previous one and differing rather in small design features than in specific properties and characteristics.

• Hoover HYP1610 019 - an unreasonably expensive vacuum cleaner, if we evaluate it from the point of view of technical characteristics. With its 200 watts of suction power, it is described as a unit for hard floors and carpets, although it may simply not be enough for effective cleaning.

• ROBO. COM³ RBC040 / 1 019 Is the only robot vacuum cleaner in the brand's range, a true example of a future that has already arrived. With such a unit, you no longer need to do the cleaning personally - the device is well oriented in space and is able to cope with the task on its own, without crashing into objects. The developers have sewn 9 different cleaning programs into the robot, and the height of the unit does not even reach 7 cm, so that it is able to climb even under furniture. Recharging is also relatively quick - it only takes 4 hours.

When choosing a specific model, it should be remembered that you will have to make a start, first of all, from the tasks assigned to the unit. Since the technique is quite simple, there are not too many criteria here. Many consumers immediately pay attention to the suction power, and this is correct, but there is not always a need to buy the most powerful model. For example, cleaning a hard surface does not require huge efforts from the device, therefore even a rather modest 200-300 W is usually enough.

It is another matter if there is a carpet in the room, especially with a long pile: in order to extract all the dust and crumbs from it, it is advisable to take precisely super-powerful models. Pets, prone to hair loss, automatically increase the requirements for the vacuum cleaner, but there is also an eye for the type of coverage - with hard floors, 350-500 watts will be enough.

For decades, a reusable dust container has been a must for a vacuum cleaner, but today more and more manufacturers are abandoning it for the sake of compactness. In fact, a bagless vacuum cleaner is very convenient, provided that the area to be cleaned is relatively small, cleaning is done often and little debris is collected - then the tank is simply washed out under running water.

Today, the same Hoover produces fairly quiet models that will not wake up a child soundly asleep in the next room.

Finally, when choosing a specific model, you should pay attention to what attachments come with it and whether it is possible to expand the standard set. So, for parquet and laminate, special nozzles are produced, designed to clean gently and not damage the floor covering. They usually cost a little more, but if you ignore them, you run the risk of soon being faced with the need to replace the floors. One of the strengths of the Hoover brand is just the abundance of available attachments, so this should not be a problem.

In terms of everyday use, Hoover vacuum cleaners differ little from other companies' vacuum cleaners, except perhaps for convenience. Even before making a purchase, you should study in detail the technical characteristics of the model and compare them with the minimum required to complete the tasks, and also make sure that the accessories are suitable for cleaning the area for which you are making a purchase.

The operation of any Hoover vacuum cleaner begins with a thoughtful reading of the instructions. Although the operation of the instrument is usually intuitive, reading the instructions is imperative to avoid misuse of the instrument. For example, if a model collects dust in a bag, you need to know when to stop and empty it in time, especially this point applies to models without bags if you have never used one before.

During operation, we must not forget that a vacuum cleaner is an electrical device, and electricity, when in contact with water, is a danger to a person and his property. Most modern models of such equipment are quite reliably protected from various unpleasant surprises, but non-observance of the safety precautions prescribed in the instructions for a particular model can cause electric shock or fire.

Once this company was the absolute leader in its industry, but the division of the brand into two divisions, and even the transfer of production to China, could not but affect the quality of the products. The brand's products are not exactly typical Chinese, but they cannot be classified as top-end expensive equipment, and this is no accident.

At the same time, it is impossible to give any clear assessment of the company's products - it all depends on the specific model: some collect more negativity, while others are predominantly liked by consumers. When evaluating the comments, it should be borne in mind that the negative can also be associated with the wrong choice of model for specific needs, but reasons for criticism such as insufficiently strong assembly, the same fragility of the case or an unpleasant smell from plastic cannot be considered a trifle.

At first glance, the abundance of service centers, necessarily located somewhere nearby, should reassure a potential consumer, but even here experienced people advise not to relax too much. Such remarks are rare, however, there are references to the fact that service employees are too delaying the formalities for accepting defective vacuum cleaners - for example, in the questionnaire you can find questions that somehow push the owner to admit that the breakdown occurred precisely through his fault. In addition, service repairs usually take a long time, which can be a problem for a person accustomed to perfect cleanliness.

The only thing that consumers almost never complain about is the prices for the products of this manufacturer. From this we can conclude that for an unassuming buyer with a limited budget and not used to operating the best vacuum cleaners in the world, such a purchase may be very worthwhile and good, or at least not cause a wave of disappointment. If you are accustomed to only the best and think that you can and should overpay for quality, it is possible that the products of this brand are simply not for you.
