Fences made of corrugated board have become very popular due to their durability. Another advantage is the ease of attachment. It is quite possible to build such a fence yourself. The main thing is to have all the necessary materials and devices available, as well as to have a minimum set of knowledge.

For work, it is necessary to prepare all materials and accessories for installation that will be required in the process. It is recommended to purchase a standard set of tools, which includes:

• screwdriver;
• drill;
• wrenches of different sizes;
• screwdrivers;
• hammer;
• nippers;
• pliers;
• scissors for cutting metal.

It is also necessary to decide on the size and color of the profiled sheet, to purchase it in the required quantity. Further materials depend on the individual choice of the base of the fence. To do this, you will need to determine what the pillars of the future structure will be. Possible options are as follows.

1. Brick is a sturdy material, but the process of creating such pillars is quite laborious. In addition, the disadvantage of this option is the high cost of new bricks. But if you still want a brick base, you should take care of purchasing special metal jumpers, since the profiled sheet is attached to them, and not to bricks.
2. Inexpensive support option - made from wood. But experts in this field do not recommend using wooden supports, since even when treated with a special compound, such columns will not stand for more than 5-7 years. Wooden supports are well suited for temporary structures.
3. An inexpensive and reliable material for creating support pillars is metal. It is very simple to fix the sheets on such supports. The only condition that must be observed for the durability of the structure is to cover the pillars with an anti-corrosion compound.

Logs (longitudinal bases) must be attached to the racks. This can be done in two ways:

• by welding;
• using special cross-shaped brackets.

Here the choice is purely individual.

There are also good choices in the area of ​​fastening methods. You can fix the profiled sheets on the prepared supports using the following options:

• self-tapping screws;
• nuts and bolts;
• rivets;
• welding.

If you choose the first option, you need to purchase special roofing screws, which are called "hardware". They have 3 parts.

1. A drill designed directly for screwing into a profiled sheet.
2. Rubber gasket for press washer. It is located directly under the screw head. The purpose of the gasket is to provide a tight seal and a snug fit.
3. Head or cap. This is a very important part of the hardware, which is necessarily covered with a layer of polymer, which prevents the negative impact of the environment.

Hardware hats are painted in different colors. It is recommended to select it in the color of the profiled sheet. It can also be bolted in place. They look like hardware.

You can use rivets that consist of several parts:

• hats (painted and unpainted);
• legs.

Fastening is carried out using a special device - a rivet gun.

Welding can also be used, but professionals do not recommend doing this. The reason is that when performing welding work, high temperatures affect the surface of the profiled sheet, which can ruin it.

A person can screw a profiled sheet on their own without outside help. To do this, you just need to put the sheets evenly and fix them in a pre-selected way. Installation is done in two ways.

1. Overlap - solid installation, since the fasteners fit tightly to the material. The size of the overlap is equal to one wave on the profiled sheet.
2. Butt - also a good fixing option, in which each sheet is attached to the lags.

Regardless of the chosen method, the holes for fasteners must be marked strictly according to the level.
