Drywall, due to its lightness and ease of processing, allows you to create complex volumetric structures, which, after assembly, can only be processed with putty and painted in any color. Built-in spotlights can be evenly positioned in the lower frame around the perimeter of the room or make indirect lighting in niches. For the latter method, it is necessary to slightly change the design - do not completely close the inner side walls of the frame-box, but leave slots through which light from the lamps hidden in the niche will flow.

First, the U-shaped guides are cut along the side edges at a distance of 3 - 5 cm and then bent into the desired curved line.

You can install your own tiered lamps on each of the ceiling levels. If you want to create a more illuminated area, then more powerful lamps are chosen, or they are placed more often. In dark areas, 2 - 3 points of illumination will be sufficient.

A suspended ceiling of 2 - 3 levels with lighting can be decorated with different designs. A minimalist ceiling frame with one step can look great even in a small room. The level adjacent to the window should be raised by 5 - 10 cm, and the level located closer to the entrance should be provided with 3 - 4 built-in lamps. If the transition is straight, then the lamps also go in one row, and if the step breaks off with a curved line, then the lamps should also go along a curve.

It is not necessary to use transitions between levels across the entire width of the room. It is possible to make a graceful stepped corner with additional lighting, for example, above the writing table in the study or in the nursery. A living room or a large hall can be equipped with a ceiling with a chic design, emphasizing the status and good taste of the residents. To do this, you can create a central zone with complex geometric shapes, each of which is equipped with its own lamps, they are also turned on separately.

Halogen lamps are close to LEDs in terms of color rendering and brightness, although they are not so economical. But such lighting options are also well suited as recessed lighting for multi-tiered ceilings.
