Patterned stucco molding can be either real or made of a light layer of gypsum.

Curly ceilings can be used in different rooms, the main thing is to skillfully combine such an unusual background with the rest of the interior details.

The most obvious option is to install a curly ceiling in the bedroom. In this room, you can translate into reality a lot of creative ideas, because there is enough space. Ceiling installation is a rather difficult task. But this does not mean that you cannot cope with it on your own. As with any renovation work, installation starts with planning. You need to carefully consider the location of all structural details and all kinds of wires. As already mentioned, such a ceiling is made once and for all, so even the slightest mistakes should not be allowed.

It is necessary to select and purchase all the necessary tools so that even small difficulties do not arise in the process of work.

The list of everything you need to work is quite extensive:

• Drywall. It is recommended to choose sheets with a thickness of six to twelve millimeters. You can even buy a little more sheets, because sometimes employees can make a mistake, and then there will not be enough material.
• Metal ceiling profiles. They will be needed in order for the structure to come out more durable.
• UD profiles. In addition to metal profiles, you will also need guides.
• Self-tapping screws, wedge anchors, dowel nails and connectors.
• Putty solution.
• Reinforcing paper.

You will also need such improvised means as a tape measure, as a rule, cutters, a level and a square. All of them allow you to do your job more accurately.

The work begins with the preparatory stage. It includes the layout of the circuit with marking on the surface. It is also necessary to draw out the details of which the second "layer" of the figure will consist.

The very base of the ceiling, before attaching the drywall to it, must be cleaned of the previous layer of paint or whitewash and leveled. After it is in a satisfactory condition, you can proceed to the installation. The first step is to determine the height of the figure. You need to start from the first level. From the extreme point of the ceiling, half a meter is laid using a long horizontal ruler or a laser level. It is also necessary to carefully measure the location of the second layer of drywall, so that later everything will be fixed as needed.

Fastening a structure begins with the simplest. The starting profile is attached, on which the suspensions are located. The main profile joins them. Self-tapping screws are used for fastening, and the ends are wound into the previous layer.

This is followed by such an equally important stage as the sheathing of the profiles with plasterboard. You can use it on the entire surface of the profile, or you can get by with the design of part of the structure.

The next stage is much more difficult to perform, so many people prefer to entrust this work to professionals. The fact is that it is at this stage that all the lines are rounded. For this purpose, neat cuts are made on the base profile and all protruding parts are removed. In general, the complexity of the work depends on how intricate the design is chosen.

When installing a curly ceiling, you need to be able to properly bend drywall. Sheets for work are selected neat and not too thick. As a rule, their thickness does not exceed the prescribed nine millimeters. The classic sheet is suitable for a radius of one hundred degrees. For smaller radii, you will have to tinker with the process of bending the sheets.

These places are processed with putty to make them smoother. Alternatively, you can cut a drywall sheet into several small pieces and fix them separately. This option is more suitable for beginners.

The final stage is the finishing of the figured ceiling with putty. The finished structure must be leveled, hiding all errors and irregularities, and then apply a layer of paint on it.

The process of installation and maintenance of the ceiling is actually easier than it seems. It can be facilitated by the advice of those who already have experience in installing such structures.

After the curly ceiling has already been fixed, there is nothing you can do about it. Therefore, it is necessary to draw a diagram in advance on paper and calculate the location of the lamps down to millimeters.

On the one hand, such a stylistic solution allows you to visually enlarge the space, even helps to find a place for another zone in the apartment. But at the same time, such a structure is quite massive and takes up a lot of space. This means that the low room will turn out even lower.

This type of dense ceiling needs proper maintenance. On it, as elsewhere, dust will accumulate over time. It should only be wiped off with a dry cloth or broom, not with a wet cloth. This will damage the structure of the drywall, ruining the appearance of the beautiful ceiling.

Finally, using the example of several rooms, you can make sure that the curly ceiling can make any room more original and interesting.

• Pink dreams. A cute curly ceiling in the shape of a pink color will decorate a little girl's room. Light pink walls and rich shades of curtains and bed linen will be combined with it. On the petals of this beautiful flower there will be lamps that will illuminate the whole room at once. But if these light sources are not enough, then a sconce can also be placed next to the bed.

• Clear sky. A blue sky with light clouds will brighten any living room. It is not necessary to decorate the entire ceiling in this way, a rather small area in the center of the room. There is also a place for a luxurious chandelier.
