Home use of dishwasher tablets

Dishwasher tablets can be used for more than their intended purpose. They contain substances that perfectly remove dirt, grease, carbon deposits and unpleasant odors. Therefore, the solution from these tablets can be used in everyday life for cleaning various surfaces, washing clothes and even removing unpleasant odors.

During operation, dirt, scale accumulates on the drum of the washing machine, an unpleasant musty smell may appear. To eliminate them, special means are purchased, but ordinary dishwasher tablets can also cope with this. You just need to put 2 tablets of detergent in an empty drum and start a dry wash. Choose a complete cycle with a temperature of at least 60 degrees Celsius.

Dishwasher tablets can be used to bleach laundry. They do a good job with old greasy spots, yellow armpits on clothes from sweat and deodorants, and remove gray plaque. To do this, you need to throw 1 tablet into the drum. For better dissolution, it is recommended to grind it.

It so happens that white linen has faded if a colored item, such as a sock, gets into the drum. The pills are great at helping to cope with the problem. Things can be soaked in solution or washed immediately with a tablet in a washing machine.

The concentrated solution can be used as a stain remover. To do this, you need to moisten the stain well and leave for 10-15 minutes.

Or wet the pill itself and rub the stain with it. In this case, you do not need to puzzle over where to use the remaining solution.

Then you need to rub the stain again and wash the item as usual.

The tablets can be used for their intended purpose. Dissolve in water and soak dishes in it. If the cups have dark stains from coffee and tea, the detergent will handle it on its own.

The product copes well with greasy deposits, especially on plastic dishes. Over time, containers begin to emit an unpleasant odor, a thin layer of yellow fat accumulates in the grooves, which can only be scraped off. To return the dishes to a well-groomed look, you need to soak them for several hours, and everything will go away by itself.

Cutlery faces the same problem, especially with a curly pattern on the handle. It also collects dirt, which is difficult to remove with a sponge and detergent and must be rubbed with baking soda.

The tablets can be used as a detergent and for other purposes. For example, use to clean a deep fryer. To do this, 3/4 of water is poured into the bowl, in which the tablet dissolves. Then the device must be turned on so that it heats up, but does not exceed the temperature of 90 degrees Celsius. The solution should not boil. Leave on for 10 minutes and then wash well.

Another tricky place to clean in your home is the oven. Gradually, a greasy carbon deposit forms on its walls, which is difficult to wash off. Not every tool is able to cope with it.

Dissolve the tablet in a small amount of warm water. Apply the resulting concentrated solution with a sponge to the walls of the oven, moisten them well. Leave on for 2-3 hours depending on the degree of soiling. Rinse well afterwards to remove all chemicals.

It works well with deposits on baking trays, baking tins and grills. To do this, the dishes must be soaked in the solution for a couple of hours, and then rinsed well.

Non-standard use of a cleaning solution to remove dirt from the walls: splashes of grease in the kitchen, traces of a felt-tip pen, crayons and plasticine.

The tablet dissolves in warm water, the resulting solution must be wiped off the walls. You can use a sponge. It is also used to clean plastic surfaces such as furniture. It does not leave streaks and does not corrode the material.

The trash bag does not protect the bucket from dirt. It can leak and get under the bag. The result is stains, unpleasant odors and even mold. Dishwasher tablets will not only clean the bucket, but also disinfect it.

The solution is poured into a bucket and left for an hour. Then it is necessary to wash the dirty places and rinse. Be sure to let it dry well, only then insert a new garbage bag.

There are two ways you can use dishwasher tablets to clean your toilet.

• The first is to crumble it and throw it down the toilet bowl. Leave for a while, then rub the walls with a brush and rinse. You can make a solution from half a tablet, treat the bowl and seat with it, and grind the other half and throw it into the drain. Wipe well afterwards.
• The second method is to throw the crushed tablet into the tank and leave it for a while. There it will dissolve and disinfect it inside. Then, carefully draining the water, wipe the walls of the toilet bowl with a brush.

In addition to the toilet, you can also clean the sink. Especially a lot of dirt accumulates near the tap at the joints. They can also be treated with a solution. Leave for one hour, and then wipe dirty areas and rinse well with water. The tablets are especially effective when cleaning kitchen sinks, and they also remove unpleasant odors from the siphon.

It is unusual to use dishwasher tablets as an air freshener, but they are excellent at absorbing unpleasant odors. This is often true for the kitchen. Frying fish or using old butter can give you an unpleasant odor.

If ordinary ventilation does not solve the problem, you can put the solution on the fire and bring it to a boil. Keep the container on low heat for up to half an hour.

The remaining solution can be used to clean the kitchen floor, as it is the dirtiest in the house, since it is on it that unpleasant drops from sauce or fat fall, which are difficult to wash afterwards.

Of course, there are special detergents for everything, and using dishwasher tablets is not always economical. But in packs sometimes broken or crumbled tablets come across, the use of which in technology is no longer possible. But they can be stored in a separate container and, if necessary, a solution can be made.
