Where and how to put the tablet in the dishwasher?
In the early years after the appearance on the market, dishwashers were dispensed with with liquid detergents. You could pour a tablespoon of any dishwashing detergent and put a dozen plates, a few pans, or three pots on the dish tray. Today detergents are used in tablets - there is a special tray for them.
Choosing the right compartment
Manufacturers have provided a separate shelf-compartment, where one or more tablets are placed. It looks like a powder tray in a washing machine. The dishwasher works in a similar way: either water is supplied to this compartment so that the tablet begins to dissolve and glass into the washing chamber, or it is held with a special grip and falls into this reservoir at the right time.
Most models indicate the tablet compartment is located on the inside of the product door.
On some models, the tablet compartment is combined with the compartments for the detergent powder (not to be confused with the washing powder). There is also a third compartment with gel rinse. The tablet can be crushed and the resulting powder can be poured into the powder compartment when the tablet suddenly stops working properly. There are also combined tablets that do not fall out, but are dissolved by water heated by the device during operation. When using regular tablets, salt must also be added to the cleaning solution.
Dishwashers of different brands and models differ in the location of the compartments for solid, powder and liquid detergents. All compartments for detergents are located inside on the door. The fact is that it makes no sense to place them somewhere far away, for example, near a boiler - users appreciate the comfort and speed of work.
On most models, the rinse aid compartment has a screw cap. If there is no rinse aid, then before starting work, the device will report its absence, without it, some models will not start working.
For detergent, the compartment can serve as a place for gel or powder. Some models make it possible to load both powder and gel into one container - separately, they cannot be mixed: for each session, choose either one or the other. Compartments for powder and gel rinse on some models are not only separate, but also remote from each other.
The tablet is most often a universal remedy... It contains all the reagents without which it is difficult to achieve high quality dishwashing. Some models do not have a tablet compartment, you need to buy rinse aid and salt separately. Then, each of the containers is loaded with its own detergent. When buying a dishwasher, users check if a tablet compartment is provided.
The need to open the package
You can put the capsule in the package, if it is soluble. The insoluble film will simply prevent the pill from working. Different manufacturers take this or that approach. Instant packaging does not contain any streaks or lines along which this detergent is opened before loading. Foil or polyethylene, for example, do not dissolve even in hot water - they must be opened before use.
You cannot use one tablet trying to run it in several cycles. But it can wash, say, up to 15 small plates - and as many, say, spoons.
Compact dishwashers, in which you can wash not 15, but, say, 7 plates, are prescribed to break the pill in half.
However, a dishwasher with a short cycle - less than an hour - is designed to use liquid or powder detergents, not tablets... The fact is that the tablet cannot soften and dissolve immediately; in this case, it resembles a piece of laundry soap. Violation of this rule threatens with insufficient dishwashing.
Tablets are available in the form of three-component, multicomponent, environmentally friendly formulations. Outwardly, they resemble sugar lumps, but in fact they include: chlorine, surfactants, phosphates, enzymes, citrates, a whitening and refreshing reagent, perfume composition, silicates, salt and several other reagents.
Make sure that there are no visible food residues on the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. If you leave them, the particles of the food that made up the cooked dish will reduce the washing ability of the solution where these tablets should enter, as a result, the quality of washing will also decrease.
Tablets are inserted by either side - manufacturers release them in the form of symmetrical blanks. Run a long wash cycle.
Do not use cartridges for a pre-wash or short-circuit program. The agent will not have time to completely dissolve in them - the dishes will not be completely washed, and plaque will accumulate at the bottom of the washing (main) compartment.
Why does it drop out?
Regardless of how you put the pill in the dishwasher, the first one drops out of its place shortly after the start of the session. The reason is the washing characteristics of some models. At the start of the session, the pill compartment "drops" it. The water heated by the boiler and circulating in the washing tank gradually dissolves the capsule.
If a tablet falls out of the compartment, then nothing needs to be done. This is a natural process that does not pose any problem. Layer-by-layer dissolution of the tablet occurs only after it has fallen out. Theoretically, it seems that it is not necessary to insert it anywhere - I threw it into the tank where the dishes are inserted, and the water itself will dissolve the tablet. It is also impossible to grind it - it should begin to act only towards the end of the process, and not at the beginning. A fully functional and functional dishwasher will release a tablet from the compartment at the right time, and not at the very beginning. If the tablet does not fall out, then, perhaps, the dishes are preventing the compartment from opening, or it itself is not working correctly. In the latter case, it is recommended to contact a service center for the repair of household appliances.
