Error E15 in Bosch dishwashers

Error E15 in the Bosch dishwasher quite common... Together with the appearance of the code, the light near the drawn crane icon lights up. This behavior of the device notifies about the activation of the protection "Aquastop".

Blocking the "Aquastop" system leads to a complete stop of the dishwasher. At the same time, the E15 code appears on the screen, the crane on the control panel flashes or is on. To begin with, it is worth understanding the peculiarities of the Aquastop system. It is simple and reliable, designed to protect the premises from flooding. Let's consider how the system works.

1. The dishwasher is equipped with a tray... It is made with a sloped bottom and has a drain hole at the bottom. The sump pipe is attached to the drain pump.

2. There is a float for detecting the water level... When the pallet is full, the part floats up. The float activates a sensor that signals the problem to the electronic unit.

3. The hose has a safety valve. If there is too much water, the electronic unit sends a signal to this particular zone. As a result, the valve shuts off the water supply. At the same time, the drain pump is activated. As a result, excess liquid is pumped out.

The pallet will overflow if there is any problem with the drain. The system completely blocks the operation of the dishwasher so as not to flood the room. It is at this moment that an error code appears on the scoreboard. Until it is eliminated, Aquastop will not allow the dishwasher to be activated.

In other words, the error is displayed at the moment when the machine cannot get rid of excess water on its own.

Causes of error E15:

1. malfunction of the electronic unit;

2. sticking of the float of the "Aquastop" system;

3. breakage of the sensor that controls the risk of leaks;

4. clogging of one of the filters;

5. depressurization of the drain system;

6. malfunction of the spray gun that sprays water while washing dishes.

To identify the cause, it is enough to carry out a diagnosis. The Bosch dishwasher generates an E15 error not only due to a node breakdown. Sometimes the cause is a program crash. Then the problem is solved by resetting the settings.

Error E15 on the scoreboard and an activated water indicator is not a reason for panic. It usually takes very little time to fix the problem. In some cases, the reason is much simpler than it might seem. A sticking float can falsely activate the Aquastop system. The solution is as simple as possible.

1. Disconnect the dishwasher from the mains power supply and water supply.

2. Shake the device and move it to vibrate... Do not tilt more than 30 °. This should work on the float itself.

3. After completing the swing, tilt the device at an angle of at least 45 °, so that liquid begins to flow out of the sump. Drain off all the water.

4. Leave the car turned off for a day. During this time, the device will dry out.

• disconnect the device from the mains, remove the cord from the socket;

• wait about 20 minutes;

• connect the unit to the power supply.

1. open the door of the device;

2. simultaneously hold down the power button and programs 1 and 3, hold all three keys for 3-4 seconds;

3. close and open the door again;

6. reopen the device and disconnect it from the outlet;

7. after 15-20 minutes you can turn on the device.

The algorithm of actions is quite simple. First, the dishwasher is disconnected from the power supply. Then the filter should be cleaned.

1. Remove the lower basket from the chamber.

2. Unscrew the cover. It is located near the lower spray arm.

3. Remove the filter from the niche.

4. Rinse with running water to remove visible debris and food debris. Use a household detergent to wash off the grease.

5. Reinstall the filter.

6. Reassemble the device in reverse order.

1. Disconnect the device from the network, turn off the water. Place the machine with the door facing up to provide access to the bottom.

2. Remove the fasteners while holding the bottom of the device. It is important not to remove the cover completely. On the inside, a float is fixed on it.

3. Open the cover slightly, take out the bolt that holds the float sensor. This will allow you to replace the part if necessary.

4. Inspect the areas where the pump connects to the hoses.

5. Pliers disconnect the flexible hose from the pump.

6. Inspect the part. If there is a blockage inside, then rinse the hose with a jet of water. If necessary, replace the part with a new one.

7. Detach the clips and the side screw, to turn off the pump.

8. Get the pump out. Inspect the gasket, impeller. If there is damage, replace the parts with new ones.

First you need to pull out the basket for dishes. This will allow access to the lower spray arm. Sometimes the impeller is secured with a screw, which must be removed. To replace the mount, you need to unscrew it from the bottom using a grip. Then just screw in a new spray arm.

In this case, a lot of foam forms, which fills the sump and floods the electronics. In the latter case, serious repairs will be required at all.

3. Poor quality detergents. You can use a specialized product and still face excessive foaming. This happens if the detergent is of poor quality. Therefore, you should give preference to only trusted manufacturers.

4. Blockages... Do not put large pieces of food in the dishwasher. The manufacturer recommends that you regularly check the condition of the filters, clean them as needed. It is also worth monitoring the cleanliness and integrity of the hoses.
