Every child dreams of their own outdoor playground. Ready-made playgrounds are expensive, and not every parent is ready to buy entertainment complexes for their site.

Advantages of pallet playgrounds:

The necessary equipment should be prepared in advance so as not to be distracted while working on the playground. All materials are inexpensive and are sold in any hardware store:

• 10 wooden pallets for the walls of the house, the ceiling and the floor of the sandbox;
• wooden boards of 2 different sizes (0.6 m by 1.2 m, 0.6 m by 0.6 m);
• plywood;
• universal screws 5 cm long;
• acrylic paint in various colors, for example, the colors of royal blue, yellow and green, 250 ml each;
• clear varnish, 500 ml;
• sandpaper;
• paint roller;
• jigsaw.

All children love to play in a quiet place, shelter, staff. Making a house with your own hands is a good idea. And the most popular place for children, both in the city and in the country, is the sandbox. DIY these two structures will turn an empty space into a mini-complex for outdoor games.

To make a complex, you need to know a number of features for creating children's buildings. The most important rule is the safety of the kids in the play area. An important step in construction is the selection and marking of the site. The children's complex must be protected from direct sunlight. It is impossible for buildings to be located in the lowlands, next to the roadway or far from the house.

Pay attention to what kind of coverage you put the house and sandbox on. The most traumatic option is concrete, which in no case should be used for children's areas. The best options are sand or crumb rubber. The main material - pallets - must be quality tested on the environmental scale. You can buy them at a hardware store or ask for unnecessary leftovers from the warehouse.

Before starting work, the pallets should be treated with a fire-fighting agent and an antiseptic. All corners should be rounded off with a grinder attachment. The boards themselves need to be sanded to be smooth.

It is difficult to find pallets of the same size, so you should not select the required parameters for a long time. For the walls of the house, you will need the same pallets, the largest will go to the roof. The front door can be made from the smallest part.

The floor should be made of plywood. It is imperative to cut out windows and doors in the house. Then the child will be under supervision and will not be afraid of the dark confined space.

Ensure that there is a drainage layer (coarse gravel, tightly packed) before starting to build a sandbox. It's a great idea to create a sandbox with a hinged lid. It will protect the sand from excess moisture and animals.

In the evening, the site should be well lit. Consider in advance the location of street lamps for safety and economy. Remember that you are creating a playground for children. Therefore, the finished building must be painted with a roller in bright colors (yellow, blue, red, pink, green).
