Features and characteristics of electric three-burner stoves

  1. What is the difference?
  2. Advantages and disadvantages

In modern traditional kitchens in apartments you no longer meet the huge technology of past centuries, since new settlers immediately acquire a built-in type of panels of various modifications, they immediately install an oven. A hob with three burners is considered the best option for small rooms, since it does not take up much space like a standard 4-burner stove, and in terms of functionality it is almost the same. Most people still do not even know that such models exist, but this particular stove has a modern design, a stylish look and has shown itself perfectly in practice.

What is the difference?

The three-burner electric panel is distinguished by its unusual design: all burners can be arranged in a triangle, in some models the designers have distributed the burners in a row. The shape of the panel can also vary and be different: perfectly round, in the form of a rectangle, square, oval or in the form of a droplet.

The burners are made of durable cast iron in the form of pancakes of different diameters, but this design is considered outdated, today they use the Hi-Light class or rapid burners, since they heat up in a few seconds, now users do not need to wait a long time for the burner to warm up. By the way, the burners cool down almost immediately, very quickly.

Thanks to the latest design, the heaters can generate more heat energy, therefore, they can be used much more efficiently, and besides, they have a longer service life. The dishes can be used the same as for the gas version. Induction hobs will need to be approached accordingly.

It is better to cook dishes on the burners of this class that do not require long-term heat treatment, which is necessary when languishing and stewing food, as when cooking a vegetable stew, for example.

Built-in electric 3-burner hobs have a higher level of fire safety than a gas stove. Quite fast cooling of all burners significantly reduces the risk of burns. The control panel allows you to block child intervention.

Advantages and disadvantages

The standard type of electric stove with an oven is the fruit of improving models of household appliances, the modern hob is very popular because it has a number of objective advantages.

  1. Aesthetic appearance. The roughness of the lines at the switches and the untidy bulge of the grille are in the distant past, the developers have thought through everything to the smallest detail. They also produce very compact slabs, with a minimum width of only 45 cm.
  2. The burners heat up quickly enough, while the heat is evenly distributed over the entire area of the dish base.
  3. Markings are applied to the glass-ceramic coating on top, which visually divides the heating zones, the developers consider this to be the highlight of such products.
  4. A panel that is not in use can always be turned into a work surface.
  5. Convenient and fairly easy to use in practice.
  6. High level of environmental friendliness and safety: oxygen is not burned, there is no combustion waste.

    The negative qualities include:

    • price - in accordance with the gas analogue, the cost of electric stoves is several times more expensive;
    • glass ceramics are too brittle type of coating;
    • the weight that a burner can withstand only 5 kg, no more;
    • heating elements consume power of 1-3 kW, that is, significant energy consumption occurs;
    • expensive induction hobs with short-lived halogen burners.

    It is very difficult to install the electric stove correctly on your own, so you will need the services of a professional electrician who can lay a separate cable, install a three-phase socket with grounding.
