When caring for petunia, it is necessary to take into account first of all the pH of the soil. Acidity or alkalinity directly affects the plant's ability to absorb nutrients that dissolve in the soil.Like many other ornamental plants, petunias prefer to grow in acidic soil. The best pH for a flower ranges from 6.0 to 7.0.

Top dressing is applied during the flowering period once a month, commercial complex mixtures are ideal with a lot of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.
