From the materials you will need the following:
- gas cylinder;
- special sandblasting gun;
- high-quality hoses without defects or damage;
- fittings, tees and the like;
- pressure gauge;
- oil / moisture separator;
- pipes (both round and shaped);
- 2 wheels;
- compressor of sufficient power;
- paint for metal.
It is very important to prepare quality tools for work that work properly.
Only with reliable tools will the master be able to build sandblasting equipment simply and quickly. Let's consider which positions will be needed:

Balloon preparation
First, the master will need to carefully prepare the cylinder for the main work. This stage should be taken very seriously. This is due to the fact that used up gas cylinders can explode, which often entails dire consequences. Let us consider in detail how it will be possible to safely and quickly prepare the balloon for further procedures:
- First you need to cut off the handle from the cylinder. A grinder is ideal for this.
- It is necessary to ensure that the tank valve is always closed.... It is recommended to cut the handle higher so as not to accidentally cut the cylinder itself.
- Next, the tap will need to be carefully unscrewed... If you are working with a very old cylinder, you may notice that the faucet on it has turned sour. In this case, it will "sit" on the tank especially firmly and tightly. The cylinder will need to be clamped in a vice, and then take an adjustable wrench. If you don't have enough strength, you can find a long pipe and work with a kind of lever.
- After that, all the contents that remain there will need to be drained from the cylinder.... This should be done as far as possible from open flame sources.
- You will need to pour water into the tank up to the very neck... It is possible to start cutting the balloon while the liquid is still in its inner part.
- For reliability, the container can be rinsed several times and filled with water only after that.... As long as there is water in the cylinder, there will be absolutely nothing to explode there, but one must take into account the fact that condensate may end up on the surface of the container, and subsequently it can catch fire.

At the top of the cylinder, you will need to cut a new hole, and then attach a piece of pipe there by welding (both internal and external threads are suitable). This part will act as a neck through which sand or other abrasive component will be poured into the tank. For the tube, you will need to find a plug with a threaded connection.

You will need to weld 2 more squeegees. One should be on the side and the other at the bottom of the container. All welds must be perfectly sealed.You will need to screw on the taps on the squeegees and make sure that the workpiece is tight by pumping air into it through a compressor. Making a nozzle
The nozzle is an important part of the sandblasting design. You can buy it in the store, or you can make it yourself. To make such a part, you can use a metal rod with a length of 30 mm and a diameter of 10 mm. You will need to bore the inner hole of the specified part to 2.5 mm for a length of 20 mm. The part that remains will be bored to a more impressive 6.5 mm diameter.
Legs
For homemade equipment, you can make the simplest frame base from round and profiled pipes.
The product will be more convenient if you equip it with a pair of wheels. With these additions, the sandblast will easily move from place to place when needed.

Attaching elements
The final stage is the assembly of the equipment structure. Tees must be screwed to the squeegees located in the upper and lower parts. On the tee that will be at the top, an important part should be fixed - a moisture separator, and with it a pressure gauge and a tap with a fitting for further connecting the hose.
A tee is also installed in the squeegee located below. Then you need to wrap 2 fittings and a hose in it. After that, the master will only have to connect the hoses.

Sometimes purchased pistols have to be altered a little in order to adjust for homemade equipment, but such modifications are not required in all cases. Also, rubberized handles will need to be installed on a homemade structure. If there are no such parts in stock, it is permissible to use pieces of dense rubber hose instead. Testing
