At the same time, it was approved for use on open ground and covering beds. The variety has been specially bred to be cold resistant.

Description of the variety

Hungarian yellow pepper belongs to the spicy varieties. On the Scoville scale, it differs in average severity - 7000-11000 units. It is interesting that, despite its name, the color, although it retains its yellow color for a long time, becomes ruby ​​at the stage of biological maturity. The fruits will keep well on bushes and in the refrigerator.

Characteristics of the appearance of plants and fruits

Hungarian yellow is a compact, closed bush. The height of the undersized bush is 40-45 centimeters. The bushes are moderately leafy with large leaves, the plates are green, slightly wrinkled.

Compared to other varieties of hot peppers, Hungarian yellow is distinguished by large fruits weighing 35-60 grams. The shape is in the form of a narrow cone, the size of which is 14-16 centimeters. Pepper peels are smooth, glossy. In a state of technical ripeness, the fruits are bright yellow, in biological maturity they are red. The arrangement of the peppers is drooping.
