This hybrid variety is a chili variety. Each bush can contain 45-50 fruits. In addition, Medusa pepper is a bright ornamental plant, while growing compactly, the shoots do not exceed a height of 30-40 centimeters. The stems are erect, they do not need a garter.

Jellyfish peppers grow in length by 5-7 centimeters, with a diameter of 2-2.5 centimeters. The fruit is slightly curved and very unusual. Jellyfish peppers have many shades, at different stages of their development, the fruits are colored in ivory, green, yellow, orange, and when fully ripe they turn red.

Despite the enormous decorative effect, the use of pepper for its intended purpose is quite relevant. The pungency of the product on the Scoville scale is from 1 to 1000 SHU. At the same time, pepper, unlike other decorative pepper varieties, has a sweet peppery taste. Together with a low level of pungency, the sweetness of the product makes this chili variant quite healthy and in demand in the gastronomic plan.

Jellyfish can be seen as a delicious alternative to bell peppers for various dishes, salads, soups. These grilled peppers are very good. A fully ripe product can be an excellent tasty and effective decoration for sandwiches, pizza, pie and other dishes. Pepper is also used for canning, as well as dried as a spice.

In terms of ripening, the pepper culture Medusa belongs to early ripening. After 110-120 days, the peppers turn red and reach 6 cm in length.

Hybrid variety Medusa F1 is quite productive. So, from one bush you can get up to 400-500 grams of hot peppers.

Gardeners begin to sow seedlings in February or a couple of months before the transfer of seedlings to a permanent place. Fertile substrate is bought ready-made or prepared from turf, compost, peat. The main care activities for Medusa are irrigation, weeding, feeding, which will be needed up to 3-4 times during the growing season (interval 2-3 weeks).

In principle, caring for this plant is not difficult. Pepper Medusa is also grown in flower pots. The main thing here is regular watering, as well as periodic feeding with a special mixture for flowers. With such care, the culture will delight for six months.

Bitter pepper Medusa is a very beautiful and grateful plant. It looks spectacular in the home interior, while on the windowsill it can be grown in pots for several years. Only 2-3 bushes will satisfy the vitamin needs of a small family of 3-4 people.
