Paper panels in the interior
Modern paper decor is not only budget-friendly, but beautiful and really stylish looking. Another big plus, for example, of a paper panel is the ability to make it yourself from improvised means.
Peculiarities
A paper panel is very simple to create, but it always looks spectacular. Paper itself is considered one of the most convenient materials to work with. It costs little, is sold in almost any store, differs in a variety of shades, sizes and thicknesses. Elements of a paper panel can be both flat and volumetric. They are attached either to the base, then enclosed in a frame, or immediately immediately to the wall.
The most popular themes for paper murals are flowers and plants, birds and butterflies. Various geometric patterns and abstract compositions are also relevant.
Tools and materials
Naturally, it is necessary to use paper to create a paper panel. However, it is not at all necessary to be limited to a set of different colors sold at a stationery store. Decorative work can be created using paper napkins, newspaper tubes, and even wallpaper. It is recommended to use small beads for decorating the product, including wooden, glass stones, buttons and beads.
As a rule, tools for work require regular scissors, glue, double-sided tape, a pencil with a ruler, and possibly a stapler.
Execution technique
To make a voluminous paper panel with your own hands, you must follow the instructions of a special master class... For example, a very simple but beautiful model, accessible even to children, is obtained from sheets of ordinary colored paper. In addition to them, scissors, a cardboard sheet for the base, as well as glue or double-sided tape are used for work. The work begins with the fact that a square is cut out of a colored sheet, after which the blank is folded in half twice. At the next stage, the sheet unfolds, its 4 corners are collected at the central point.
The required number of blanks of other shades is created in the same way. All of them are fixed on a cardboard base using double-sided tape or glue. The finished work is fixed on the wall or placed on a horizontal surface.
From corrugated or crumpled colored paper, an equally attractive wall panel is created, which is a floral arrangement. First, the corrugation is cut into strips, the width of which is 5 centimeters, and the length reaches 10 centimeters. All corners of the stripes are rounded. A piece of foil is rolled to form the center of the flower. It is fixed with hot glue on the base of the flower, which is a small circle made of felt or cardboard.
On the other side of the base, a stick or wire is immediately connected, which acts as a stem. The first piece of corrugation is stretched in such a way as to almost completely envelop the middle. The colored piece is tightly wrapped around the stem with threads. The next piece is also stretched and fixed on the opposite side. Alternately, one by one, the petals are attached to the stem. To make the flower look like a rose, its edges can be slightly folded. In a similar way, green leaves are created, of the order of two or three. The finished flowers are arranged in a framed composition or immediately placed on the wall.
A panel made of paper in the form of a tree, made using the quilling technique, looks interesting. For work, PVA glue, quilling paper of pink, green, purple and brown shades, tweezers and scissors are used. In addition, you will need either an awl or a wooden toothpick with a slot to clamp the strip of paper. First of all, the outline of the figure is applied on a sheet of cardboard or plywood.
Quilling elements are twisted from colored paper cut into strips, which then fill the space of the trunk, crown and flowers. The finished elements are fixed with glue.
Examples in the interior
A good solution would be to place a duet of laconic images of plant leaves on the wall. Thanks to the use of black and green shades, as well as special cuts, the elements not only acquire color, but also volume. It should be noted that such compositions do not require full-fledged frames and look much better in wooden holders fixed at the top and bottom.
Another simple but effective solution is to compose a panel of butterflies of various shades. Insects range in color from lavender to deep purple. Thanks to the folds in the right places, they are given volume. On the panel, butterflies are fixed in such a way as to form a heart.
