Italon porcelain stoneware is an environmentally friendly material that is made from natural raw materials, namely sand, clay, feldspar. All components are mixed and pressed under a pressure of about 450 kg / cm. sq. Further, the workpiece is fired at 1200 degrees, which subsequently ensures extremely low water absorption by the finished product and its high strength.

Currently, Italon porcelain stoneware is available in three series:

• Tecnica. This porcelain stoneware has a homogeneous structure throughout its entire mass.This type of facing material does not change its external qualities and aesthetic appeal under the influence of time or when exposed to abrasive substances. Such qualities make it possible to use such tiles in rooms where there is a serious mechanical load on the ceramic coating, for example, in production workshops, at train stations, in large shopping centers, concert halls, workshops;
• Interni. A type of ceramic granite with a glazed top surface. In addition to the use of glaze, this material is highly eco-friendly, since it is made from recycled materials. The presence of glaze gives the company's designers the opportunity to apply a wide variety of shades and various decorating techniques. At the same time, Interni porcelain stoneware retains all the properties and performance characteristics of this material. This type of cladding is more often used for finishing the floor in premises for people living, in public buildings with an average and low traffic rate (boutiques, restaurants), as well as for finishing walls outside and inside buildings of any purpose;

• Creativa. Porcelain stoneware that has the same color throughout its entire thickness. Italon porcelain stoneware offers a wide range of advantages over other ceramic cladding materials.

This product is a fairly durable materialresistant to shock and other mechanical stress. Such properties of ceramic granite are explained, first of all, by the peculiarities of the process of its manufacture, which resembles the formation of stone in nature. The only difference is that the tiles are made much faster and under strict quality control. So, for example, for light dirt and for everyday cleaning, alkaline agents "Italon B-Ase", "Fila Cleaner" are used, in the presence of stubborn stains - "Fila Deterdek", "Italon A-Cid".

If a floor material is chosen, then a coating that is too smooth will most likely not work. After all, it will be quite difficult to take care of it (maintaining its constant shine is not an easy task), after wet cleaning or getting water on it, it can cause injuries.

Which color and pattern to choose is a purely individual matter. This choice will depend on personal preference, the general style and design of the room, and the color scheme prevailing in it. For strict furniture, it is better to choose a single-color tile in cold shades, while home furnishings are more conducive to the choice of materials in warm colors.

In terms of dimensions, Italon offers tiles in various formats. Square can have dimensions of 30x30, 44x44, 59x59, 60x60. Rectangular tiles are also produced. This is more common in collections where the tile pattern imitates wood. The choice of tile size depends on the area of ​​the room. If it is small, then large tiles will make it even smaller. Therefore, in this case, it is better to dwell on porcelain stoneware of small dimensions.

The area of ​​the room can also be important when calculating the number of tiles that need to be purchased. Sometimes it happens that when choosing a certain size, a large waste of porcelain stoneware is obtained. And since it is not very easy to cut it, in this case it is better to choose a tile of a different size, so that when laying it, there are fewer difficulties.

To check the quality of the tile, it is necessary to trace over its surface with an alcohol marker. If the trace is erased, then the product is of high quality.

You should also pay attention to the back surface of the tile. Square depressions on a quality product should not be more than 1.5-2 cm deep.
