It is also very important to consider the type of spotlight for which you are planning to purchase an LED. In total, in modern stores there are about a dozen different types of caps (E-14, MR-40, A60, C37 and others) that are suitable for certain lamps.

As already mentioned, LEDs have a long service life and very rarely burn out. But if you still need to insert a diode lamp into a lamp, take note of a few important rules:

1. Be sure to turn off the power supply before starting work.
2. Wait until the lamp has completely cooled down (if necessary) before starting to replace the light bulb.
3. Be very careful if you have to remove an LED from a luminaire that has a glass body. Over time, the material becomes very fragile.
4. When you are unable to disconnect the socket from the base, you should completely remove the device and disconnect it from the electricity and then pull out the light bulb at the bottom. This situation can arise in the case of incomplete connection of the cartridge and the conductor, as a result of which, under the influence of high temperatures, the light bulb sometimes sticks to the base.
5. Before inserting the light bulb into the socket, be sure to check if its power matches your lighting fixture. This is very important, because if you install a higher wattage light bulb, you can provoke a breakdown of the transformer or controller. Be extremely careful while working.

So, now let's look directly at the process of replacing a light bulb.

• After you have cut off the electricity and checked the power of the LED, take out the old light bulb. In the case of spotlights, this is very easy to do, it is enough to gently pull on the special ring.
• Next, install a new LED bulb and replace the ring.
• After that, you can turn on the power supply and check the operation of the lamp.

As you can see, the process is not particularly difficult and does not take much time. You will completely cope with such a task on your own without outside help.

• Hallway or corridor. For these rooms, lighting plays a very important role, because most often the hallways are quite small. In addition, there are no windows in such rooms, which means that it is necessary to create the most comfortable artificial lighting there.

• Kitchen. Spot devices for such a room are a real lifesaver. You don't have to wash bulky chandeliers or floor lamps. With the help of small lamps, it is easy to highlight work areas or effectively divide the space into zones. For example, the food preparation area and the dining room.

• Living room. Very often for the hall, such lamps are used both as the main and auxiliary light source. Zoning with light and highlighting the workplace will also be very appropriate here.
