• Another important point is the treatment of cucumbers from pests and diseases for the purpose of prevention, since the appearance of both the first and the second will not only slow down the ripening period, but also leave it without a crop... For prevention, folk remedies are suitable, such as soapy water or ash, as well as ammonia, which will serve as both protection and fertilizer at the same time.

• Pinching the tops of the bushes will also help, as well as timely disposal of shoots from unnecessary leaves that look lethargic or begin to turn yellow.
