Cucumber Annushka

A Dutch breeding hybrid, Annushka F1 cucumber, is no coincidence popular among farmers. First of all, it is absolutely unpretentious in care and cultivation, and also has excellent taste characteristics and absolutely no bitterness. Annushka is perfect for various processing, such as salting, canning, pickling. Everyone notes that the fruits of the hybrid and in the preserved state remain the same firm and crisp.

Annushka's cucumber hybrid has long been very popular with vegetable growers around the world. The hybrid variety has a fairly high yield, as well as an excellent taste of the fruit.

The cucumber bush of the culture in question is of medium size, grows from 150 to 200 cm, the climbing ability is average, the vine is quite powerful. The roots of the hybrid are underdeveloped, located at a close distance to the surface of the earth. Medium-sized leaves have a rich green color. A feature of the described hybrid is the laying of ovaries in bunches.

Zelentsy have the shape of a cylinder, they are 3-3.5 centimeters in diameter, 80-100 grams in weight, and 9-11 cm long.

The flesh of Annushka's cucumbers is rather juicy, devoid of bitterness. These qualities make the greens ideal for canning and fresh consumption, for example, in summer salads. The fruits can be stored for a long time, they will not turn yellow.

Fruiting of the Annushka hybrid when grown in seedlings begins in June, after 45-50 days from pecking the seedlings, if there was a direct planting in the garden, the cucumbers will ripen a month later. In all cases, the hybrid will bear fruit for a long time, until mid-autumn.

The Dutch culture also brings a considerable harvest on Russian soil: on average, 9-10 kilograms of cucumbers can be obtained from 1 m2.

Sowing of Annushka's seeds is carried out either in the ground or in a small container for seedlings. The grown seedlings are planted in the beds at the age of 20-30 days. The scheme for planting seedlings for open ground - 4-5 plants on an area of ​​1 m2, and in the greenhouse you need to leave more space, that is, place 2-3 sprouts on the same area.

In greenhouse structures, Annushka cucumbers are tied to a trellis, forming into one stem. After 2-3 leaves, the lateral shoots must be pinched. Vegetables should be picked regularly, every 2-3 days. The bushes need to be watered regularly, and they must be weeded, loosened and fed.

Annushka is a rather moisture-loving plant. The roots of the hybrid are located close to the surface, which can threaten to dry out. The main process of growth, as well as ripening of the fruits of the Annushka cucumber hybrid, as a rule, occurs at night, so irrigation is optimal in the evening.

For the entire growing season, the cucumber hybrid will need two or three additional feeding.For their implementation, experienced gardeners use either ready-made complex mineral fertilizers according to the instructions on the package, or any folk remedies. So, a mullein solution is introduced under the root. The proportions are as follows: a glass of slurry is diluted in a bucket of water. Or you can spray it on a sheet with a solution of urea: here 30 g of the substance should be diluted in 10 liters of liquid.

Annushka's hybrid is genetically resistant to such ailments:

• cucumber mosaic virus;
• cladosporiosis;
• powdery mildew, as well as downy mildew.
