And in order to save the tiles and replace the floor partially, you need to work on the grout, removing it completely, and then carefully and slowly pry the edge of the covering and try to peel it off the floor.

The technology of the procedure is approximately the same in all cases and depends on whether you want to keep the existing tile or not, whether you want to make a complete replacement of the tile or a partial one.

If you have made repairs, and everything suits you, then you are unlikely to dare to touch something just like that. In the event that, by some accident, one square is chipped in your tile, then you do not need to redo the entire masonry, you can replace only one tile.

In the event that nothing comes out for you, and the tile sits dead, you need to split it with a grinder. Cross-to-cross stripes are drawn on the tile, and a hole is made along them in the center. You need to insert a chisel into it, and again try to chip off the tile.

In this case, it is not so scary to damage the edges of the tile, because you will change it anyway. If one hole did not help you, you can make several of them by selecting points on the previously drawn diagonals.

If you have laid the tiles, but for some reason you do not like the result, you should not rashly rip everything off and spoil the material, you can carefully remove it and try to lay it again. To do this, you need to prepare an inventory, among which there will be only a hammer and a chisel. This is exactly how, manually, and it can turn out to maximally protect the slabs from cracking during dismantling.

The work is done slowly and carefully, each tile is torn off separately. With the help of a chisel, a suitable area is selected on the tile, where you can pick up a square and use a hammer to beat it off the wall. To make it easier to work, first of all, you need to remove all grout from the joints. Only after that, by tapping, there is a search for hollow zones, which will allow you to remove the tiles without damaging them.

Tear off the tile from top to bottom, working from the tile that will initially be the most accessible to removal. If it was not possible to find one, you need to break the corner square and move on from there.

When prying on the tile, it is important to strike carefully and not to drive the chisel or chisel too deep so that the material does not crack. It is important to hold the tile with your other hand and carefully separate the tile from the wall. If you can't do this easily, then you need to try tapping with a chisel on the other side and try again. You need to do these steps until you can easily remove the area you want on the wall.

If you need to get rid of old wall tiles or remove everything from the ceiling, you can use a hammer drill. This option is useful for those cases when the old coating does not need to be preserved, and a new tile will fall in its place.
