The desire to change his life and bring some special flavor into it often leads a person to the beginning of repairs in his home. In order to truly change your home, you need to replace the wallpaper, but their classic version is less and less consistent with the requirements of our time. This fact has a rather simple explanation: people want to spend most of their time where everything matches their tastes, creates harmony for the soul, pleases the eye and helps to feel such a simple but necessary happiness.

The term "graffiti" is of Italian origin, and its root word translates roughly as "scribbled". A logical conclusion follows from this: the art presented here may have originated from distant antiquity - those times when primitive people only invented rock painting.

Despite the above, the special popularity and well-known distinctive appearance came to graffiti only in the middle of the last century. America has become a place of revival, or rather its special part - gray and poor streets. On all suitable surfaces, the drawings began to be sprayed with paint cans. Graffiti has become not only art for the rogue American poor - it has become a way of expression for protesters who were unhappy with the country's current system. These people did not stop even after the announcement of their activities as an official violation of the law, for which punishment is imposed.

This type of wallpaper should be sorted out very carefully and with special attention to detail, approach the further selection and acquisition of the necessary materials.

It is important not to forget about the observance of stylistic combinations. Graffiti wallpaper is a truly modern solution, and it should go well with the overall design picture in an apartment or house. Such harmony is possible, for example, with minimalism or hi-tech. But for ethnic, Mediterranean and other similar styles, it is better to choose a different option.

Further, do not neglect soft colors, which inhibit the harshness of transitions of brighter hues. This is necessary to avoid the sensation of "cramps" in the eyes, which often leads to fatigue when staying indoors for a long time.

For example, in a child's bedroom they will look great:

• Characters of various works;
• Representatives of the animal world;
• Pictures of any hobbies.

For other rooms also suitable:

• Abstraction;

To apply graffiti wallpaper, you need:

• Remove old, unnecessary cladding without leaving any residue. If this is wallpaper, use a metal spatula, if paint - with a grinder, and in the case of tiles, a perforator or chisel is suitable;

• Fill every unevenness. Large cracks are closed with a serpyanka, which prevents their further expansion;
• Prime the wall. This action significantly increases the adhesive property of the substrate. You can also add white dye to the solution, creating the perfect backdrop for any drawings;

• Dilute the glue in a cleaned container;
• Process the first canvas with the resulting mixture of glue from the back side;

• Alternately stick the existing canvases on the wall, forming a solid pattern.

It is not necessary to use ready-made wallpaper. You can make graffiti with your own hands, and this requires only accuracy, at least minimal drawing skills and the ability to accurately follow the finished sketches. If there are no problems with all this, it remains only to study the instructions:

• Prepare the surface. Technically, you can paint with spray paint anywhere, but in an apartment it is better to take care of priming and plastering a wall that is painted in some neutral color;
• Next - select a picture. The drawing itself, its color scale and scale are important. Each aspect must match the parameters of the room. The originality and originality of the idea, literacy and clarity of the drawn sketch are of great importance;
• Then you need to purchase the necessary materials. These include a palette of spray paint cans, gloves, and a respirator. The latter is necessary for comfortable handling of paint that has a too strong odor. Nozzles for cylinders, markers and special brushes for small parts will not be superfluous;
• You will also need a "draft" - a surface where training and mastering of the acquired items will take place.

Graffiti on the walls becomes relevant in almost any room, no matter what its purpose is and how old the owner is. Colors, styles and directions can vary as you like, perfectly adjusting in all possible parameters to the owner of the house or a separate room.

The main thing is to follow personal preferences and not succumb to stereotypes that often get in the way of living in the environment of what you really like.
