Motoblocks "Neva" are deservedly popular in our country. Together with them, it is desirable to use carts. The efficiency of work depends on the correct choice of the latter.

Features and varieties

The cart for the Neva walk-behind tractor is an extremely important, one might even say, irreplaceable element. With this device, you can turn a motorized unit into a full-fledged vehicle. The company has developed 4 types of trailers for the Neva. The single-axle dump truck has sides 35 cm high. With a structure weight of 56 kg, it is able to take a load 5 times more.

If the cart is equipped with two axles, then with the same dimensions it will move up to 500 kg. You can also use TPM (up to 250 kg) and TPM-M (up to 150 kg) designs. However, the choice is much greater, because almost all modern trolley devices can be attached to the walk-behind tractor. You just need to make sure that the mount is compatible before buying, so as not to waste your money. There shouldn't be any special problems, because nowadays universal methods of joining are most often used.

How to choose a design?

Trailers are not suitable for moving on public roads, especially on motorways. Therefore, only those properties that are valuable for the transportation of goods in vegetable gardens and in summer cottages are important. The first step in choosing is the correspondence of the capacity of the trailer and the pulling force of the walk-behind tractor. In the Neva line, almost all models have motors with a capacity of 5.5 to 7.5 horsepower. Heavy modifications are an exception.

For most systems, including MB-2, it is recommended to use trailers carrying 250-500 kg of various loads (MB-2 travels at a speed of 12 km / h). But if you bought a Neva MB-23 walk-behind tractor, you can use carts designed for 1000 kg. Other points are universal for any model and are dictated by considerations of practical benefits:

  • it is very good if the body is made of galvanized steel (then the cart will be resistant to any weather);
  • preferably equipment with hinged sides;
  • it is even better if the body itself leans back;
  • trolleys with brakes are recommended.

Since walk-behind tractors predominantly move loads over uneven areas, it is not enough to simply have brakes. They must be as reliable as possible, otherwise there is no question of a safety net. In the absence of suitable designs, you can make a trolley of any size with your own hands. All you have to do is choose the right blueprints and apply the right materials and tools.

For a trolley with a lifting capacity of 350 kg and above, brakes are strictly required, even if it is used only for moving on level ground.

Model overview

The trailer trolley TM-360 is capable of transporting both agricultural and construction goods. It moves from 250 to 500 kg at a time, has a ground clearance of 31.5 cm and a track of 145 cm. The highest speed is 10 km / h. The weight of the structure is 90 kg.

The TM-250 can carry no more than 250 kg. But this trailer has a slightly higher ground clearance (37 cm).

If you need to choose a cart that is compatible with adapters, it is better to give preference to the APM model. It is capable of moving any kind of cargo with a maximum mass of 250 kg. The advantage of the design is the availability of pneumatic tires. This allows you to almost not feel the shaking while driving.However, the ground clearance is only 18 cm, so the trailer will not pass on a very bad road.

If you need to haul hay, any of the models described will do. But for the transportation of cement, soil, bricks and other heavy cargo, it is more correct to use the VRM-Z trolley. She takes on board 400 kg, which allows you to safely deliver all or almost all of the garden tools to the dacha. Importantly, an adapter is not required in this case. The VRM-Z trailer is connected directly to the shafts of the gearboxes.

Usage Tips

It is undesirable to entrust the control of a walk-behind tractor with a cart to those who are under 14 years old. Sticks and other controls should be adjusted to the height of the operators. Before each drive, it is necessary to check the serviceability of all connections and couplings. In a number of designs, a console provides a hitch between the trailer and the walk-behind tractor. In any case, the docking should take place taking into account the standard tractor bracket. For harsh environments, a swivel joint should be selected.

Prohibited:

  • operation of overloaded carts;
  • driving on an unreasonably steep slope;
  • transportation of people and animals on a trailer.
