This is the name of the herbaceous perennial culture belonging to the family of the lamines; in nature, this species is found in the New World. The original area of ​​its distribution includes the eastern regions of North America. The double monard also managed to populate the northwestern regions of the United States and even settle in Europe and Asia. The height of the double monarda is from 0.7 to 1.5 m. The bracts are relatively large and in most cases have the same color as the flowers themselves.

Variety "Panorama red" will appeal to those who appreciate spicy aromas. An attractive mint-lemon scent is typical for this culture. In addition to decorative use, such a plant also becomes a raw material for herbal tea. Its scarlet flowers remain graceful even when withered. "Panorama Ed" is recommended for prefabricated compositions; it will bloom for a long time, producing a noticeable amount of nectar.

"Monarda Fireball" in width it grows up to 30 cm. Its height can reach 60-70 cm. The variety is distinguished from other representatives of the species by its thick stem and impressive dark leaves. Flower "Fireball" dense in structure, visually similar to a ball of red wine.

An attractive tart aroma emanates from the flowers - a cross between the scent of lemon and mint.

White color of flowers with a light pink hint is characteristic of the variety. Snow Queen... The pinkness of this plant increases during flowering. It itself takes place in July and August. The height of the culture can reach 100-120 cm.

Monarda height Cambridge Scarlet can be 90 cm in favorable conditions. The oblong leaves are fairly serrated. In summer, small tubular or funnel-shaped flowers form. The norm is both their single growth and grouping in brushes. The juicy red flowers reach a cross section of 7 cm, and the plant will bloom during most of the summer, with the exception of June; it is planted not only in flower beds and borders, but also in ordinary vegetable gardens to lure pollinators.

The minimum winter temperature is 34 degrees. The section of the crown will be equal to 60 cm. For monarda "Bee Free", direct growth of leafy stems is characteristic. The opposite leaves of a light green color, placed on them, have short petioles. The flowers are relatively small and are grouped in dense inflorescences. Such a plant hardly suffers during dry periods. It goes well with sage, astilba, cereals.

Variety "Bi pyur" grows up to 50 cm and has a width of 30 cm. Peduncles rise up to 70 cm. The leaves of the Bee Pyur monarda are distinguished by a strong odor, suitable for teas. The variety is optimal for cutting. It is used in landscape compositions and in the design of lawns.

They are noted for good resistance to cold and drought.

Among the types of monarda "Mona Lisa" stands out. Its height is 60-100 cm, and the stem forks. The green leaf is rather narrow. The flowers are painted in a dark lilac-purple tone. Inflorescences are arranged in a whorled pattern.
