Console - a functional and practical piece of furniture, often used in the arrangement of the interiors of modern hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, offices. What should you consider when choosing and buying a home console?

Visually, the classic console resembles a small table, most often placed along one of the walls of the room. Usually it is used as a stand (shelf) for temporary storage of small items and accessories: keys, phones, gloves, cosmetics and perfumes.

However, the concept of some fashionable styles (for example, such as art nouveau and hi-tech) quite allows the use of designs that have a rather unusual color performance. So, in the design of interiors made in the indicated styles, it is allowed to use consoles with surfaces, imitating gold, bronze, chrome-plated metal.

When choosing a furniture console for a house or apartment, designers recommend taking into account the characteristics of the room, in which it is planned to place the structure, and the style of the interior. So, into space small hallway in the style of modern classics, a free-standing, suspended or corner structure made of dark wood or MDF will organically fit in.

For the hall or living room, made in a fashionable high-tech style, it is recommended to purchase structures made of glass and / or metal. A practical plastic console, in turn, will successfully fit into the interior, designed in a minimalist style.

When choosing a console attention should be paid to the strength of the structure and its stability... When buying pendant (wall) and attached models, you should also study features of their attachment to the wall... The most reliable mount is considered to be with brackets. A console with a vertically elongated shape will best fit into a room with low ceilings.
