Those who love simplicity and functionality, prefer modern trends and have good taste will love the hi-tech style. But it requires not only adherence to special rules when decorating housing, but also the design of the corresponding interior. This means that you need to know everything about high-tech furniture.

Peculiarities

If you describe this style in a few words, then the most correct words would be: freedom, brevity, comfort.

  • The space always remains free. Nothing extra. Feeling of severity and order.
  • Each item performs its function and is present for a reason.
  • Convenience has not been canceled. Everything in the room is subordinated to one goal - it should be comfortable to work or relax in this place. Depending on what kind of room you want to arrange.

High-tech furniture also has its own distinctive features. These are simple designs, but multifunctionality is inherent in them. The furniture has restrained colors. Classic white, black and gray colors are optional for this style. Blue, beige, brown may well be present.

Bright accents may also be available, but they are few. Jewelry is not particularly welcome, but you can afford it in a reasonable amount. For example, one plant in a floor vase or an interesting planter. An abstract painting will do as well.

Furniture is perhaps the most significant link in the high-tech chain in an apartment. But you shouldn't forget about lighting.

Views

Absolutely any room can be decorated in this style, furniture is selected in accordance with the functionality of the space in furniture showrooms or is made to order.

  • Kitchen. A place where items of kitchen furniture and everything that is required for cooking should be present. The kitchen implies such a set, which has hidden shelves, drawers with pull-out or roll-out mechanisms. Everything should be hidden from prying eyes, but in accessible places. For a spacious room, the island part will be appropriate, where a lot of useful kitchen things can be accommodated. In addition, the presence of a bar should not be ruled out.
  • Bathroom. In addition to plumbing equipment, the presence of cabinets and shelves for storing various accessories is appropriate here, but they should have monochromatic shades. The feeling of free space is also important, so you need to create a harmonious order in the bathroom, getting rid of all unnecessary things, at least visually.
  • Hallway. Usually there is little furniture here. In the case of high-tech, a laconic hanger, couch, mirror are suitable for the hallway. All this is no frills - strict forms and shades.
  • Living room. Upholstered furniture, for example, a sofa, armchairs, will be relevant for this room. They can be either clear lines or smooth, the main thing is to maintain the color balance and layout of the space. Furniture can also have all kinds of shelves, drawers, where various little things are hidden.

But this is not so necessary. An austere sofa and a pair of armchairs with a low coffee table, complemented by modern technology, can make up the entire interior.

  • Bedroom. Comfort should be felt in this room, conducive to good rest. But in hi-tech, the bedroom should be free of unnecessary items. A comfortable bed, bedside tables, wardrobe in the same color scheme without unnecessary details will be most appropriate here.
  • Children's. In this case, it is more difficult to use hi-tech, since children love bright colors. However, there may be interesting designs that will appeal to the child. For example, a niche in the wall where the bed hides. Or a staircase leading upstairs, where the sleeping place is located. It is necessary to provide for a workspace, which is also typical for children's rooms. A computer desk or table is installed here for other activities that the child is fond of.
  • Cabinet. The workplace most often should include everything you need, which depends on the activity to be engaged in. Therefore, high-tech furniture is easy to pick up. A writing desk, a shelf, a bookcase is what you need. A comfortable armchair will complement the interior.

Materials (edit)

Most often, the following materials are used for upholstered furniture in this style: genuine leather, eco-leather, dense textiles. As for the colors, they are most often white, black and gray. Wooden surfaces are rare. In cabinet furniture, these will most likely be metal, plastic, glass surfaces. They can be matte or glossy. And even if these are wooden surfaces, their colors should not be bright. It is better to choose all the same white or black surfaces.

Design

The design of a high-tech room can be sustained in one color scheme or have separate bright accents. For example, the living room may contain a gray sofa, complemented by a glass table. The walls should be a tone lighter, while it is allowed to choose a white style for curtains. And these will be the simplest curtains, but made of expensive fabric, and roller blinds or blinds are also quite appropriate.

Often, windows are left without curtains at all, especially if they are large in size or of a panoramic type, and an attractive landscape opens up behind them. This is most often possible in a country house or on the highest floors in spacious apartments. In a high-tech room, accents can be made. For example, a blue carpet, chandelier, or curtains combined with one section of the wall decorated in the same color. There are many options.

Very popular design options where black and white tones are present. For example, dark walls and white furniture (or vice versa). Only in all cases it should be borne in mind that dark colors are not an obstacle to spacious rooms, as are voluminous furniture of the most strict forms. But for small rooms you need to choose light shades - white, light gray, beige.

Furniture will be comfortable if it is easy to transform it from one structure to another with a slight movement. For example, a coffee table turns into a dining table, a small compact sofa - into a large sleeping place. It's good when a spacious wardrobe is hidden in a niche.

As for the decor, it can be present, but in a minimal amount, as well as with a similar color scheme. For example, on black shelves, these can be photographs in strict frames or flower pots of the same type with plants.

Beautiful examples

It is always helpful to consider options to understand how hi-tech can fit into a specific space available. Besides, you need to imagine what kind of furniture is complemented by the room in order to maintain the desired style.

  • A prime example of where black and white are dominant. Moreover, these colors are inherent not only in furniture, but also in all other accessories. Just such an example, where only blinds can be appropriate on the windows. There are no bright accents here, but all the furniture is functional, the room looks stylish, creating a feeling of perfect order, where everything is always in its place.
  • The feeling of freedom and spaciousness is evoked by the following room. This is facilitated by windows, white shades. The white sofa looks gorgeous. There is a minimum of furniture here. In addition to the sofa, there is a small table and shelves. Carpet and floor lamp serve as the additions that create coziness, but they are also designed in the appropriate color scheme.
  • An interesting option, where strict curtains in a light green shade and an abstract picture on the wall that attracts the eye are well suited to white furniture that fits perfectly into the style.
  • Another ideal hi-tech option. All the attributes of style are present here - black and white furniture of an original form, glossy surfaces, glass stakes, interesting lamps. And even the carpet that complements the decor is black. And it contrasts well with the tiles.

In the next video, you will find a brief overview of a high-tech apartment.
