For foreign and Russian gardeners, the remontant variety of raspberries Enrosadira (synonym for Enrosadira) has become a real gift since its inception. The variety is versatile with high transportability and presentation. The fruits are used for fresh consumption, conservation, freezing, drying, sale to the population. In addition, Enrosadira is a real totimer - it gives 2 crops per season.
Breeding history of the variety
The variety was bred in the city of Favor, which is located in Italy, Trentino region. The appearance of Enrosadira dates back to 2004. The breeding work was carried out by Aldo Telc in the Vivai Molari nursery, which is managed by Gilberto Molari. In this work, cultivars T44L04 Lagorai (maternal donor) and T35L04 (paternal) were crossed.
The technology for obtaining the final result was rather complicated and took several years. The first plants obtained as a result of hybridization were later propagated by asexual root cuttings with observation of varietal traits. The resulting result required registration and a patent, and the application was successfully filed in 2013. At the international MACFRUT exhibition, the hybrid was awarded the highest assessment of specialists - a gold medal.
Description of the variety
Enrosadira is a powerful shrub 175–250 cm high, consisting of vigorous upright shoots. The branches are covered with green oval corrugated leaves with pointed tips. There are small thorns on the shoots.
The plant produces crops in mid-July when it comes to first years. The branches of the second year bear fruit already from June, if they grow in warmer climates. The autumn harvest is harvested for a long time: up to 70 days. The berries ripen faster in tunnels than outdoors.
Young shoots are colored in lighter green tones, while second-year plants already have a lignified structure with a brown color. The plant blooms with white flowers of medium size: about 1 cm.
Ripening terms
Raspberries are mid-late varieties, their fruiting period is July - August and autumn, sometimes up to November frosts.
Growing regions
The hybrid is adapted for the south of Russia, central Russia and Siberia.
Yield
Hybrid Enrosadira is a high-yielding plant that yields up to 1.3 kg per bush, if we are talking about industrial cultivation, then this is 25 t / ha.
Berries and their taste
During harvesting, the shoots are covered with large berries of a bright red color with an elongated conical shape. Their length is 3 cm, width is 2 cm, weight is 6–12 g. The dense fleshy juicy pulp has a pronounced raspberry aroma and sweet taste. The firmness of the fruit provides excellent transportability, which makes the hybrid very popular for industrial cultivation.
Growing features
Outdoors, raspberries prefer southern, well-lit and draft-free areas. The plant does not tolerate planting at the site of cultivation of nightshades: tomatoes, peppers.Fertile loamy or sandy loamy soils with a neutral level of acidity should have good aeration. The most favorable landing dates are classic: spring-autumn.
Site selection and soil preparation
For planting young plants, trenches are prepared with a depth of 40 cm with a distance between the bushes of 50–70 cm and 2 m between rows. The land is filled with organic matter and special complex fertilizers. When planting, care must be taken to leave the root collar at ground level: not higher or lower, otherwise the plant will not be able to develop. Raspberries are spilled after planting, making sure that the water flows down the slopes of the ridges, accumulating in the furrows.
Watering and feeding
Raspberry Enrosadir needs additional watering during the dry period, otherwise the fruits become smaller, shoots and foliage begin to dry out. The irrigation rate is soil moistening 50 cm deep with a frequency of 1 time in 7-10 days. During prolonged droughts, watering continues until the beginning of harvest, stopping it for several days, otherwise the berry may become watery.
The same goes for top dressing. In this case, regularity is also observed. The main stages are spring, vegetation, budding, autumn. During the season, organic fertilizers are applied 3 times, this is mullein or chicken droppings in the amount of 5 liters per 1 m 2. Nitrogen fertilizers are applied in the spring, potassium-phosphorus fertilizers - in the summer.
Frost resistance and preparation for winter
The hybrid has good winter hardiness: the plant can withstand up to -25 °. But this does not guarantee a good wintering without shelter in cold latitudes, if they plan to grow raspberries as a two-year crop. In this case, the shoots are removed from the trellises, bent down, pinned to the ground. After that, the raspberries are covered with spruce branches, branches, agrofibre and additionally covered with snow. With annuals, the technology is slightly different: the plants are cut at the root, hemp is mulched with peat, sawdust.
Unfortunately, raspberries, like other plants, do not bypass various diseases and pests. Only armed with the knowledge and the necessary means for this, you can cope with such troubles. To help the plant, it is very important to be able to recognize the disease in time and begin timely treatment.
Reproduction
Propagated by Enrosadira by root suckers, cuttings, cuttings. Root offspring are obtained by digging up sprouted young growth in the summer during weeding and thinning. Cutting is a rather difficult way for a beginner, and special attention should be paid to this, watch the training video. The division of the bush is carried out in the fall, by planting the divisions in prepared ridges.
