Unexpectedly for many, retro style has become popular in recent years. For this reason, tape recorders "Electronics" appeared again on the shelves of antique stores, which at one time were in the house of almost every person. Of course, some models are simply in a deplorable state, but for lovers of things from a past era, this does not matter at all, because even they can be restored.

About the manufacturer

A large number of household appliances were produced under the "Electronics" brand in the USSR. Among them is the "Electronics" tape recorder. The manufacture of this electrical appliance was carried out by factories that belonged to the department of the Ministry of Electrical Industry. Among them it is worth noting the Zelenograd plant "Tochmash", Kishinev - "Mezon", Stavropol - "Izobilny", and also Novovoronezh - "Aliot".

The series, which were produced for export, were called "Elektronika". All that remained of these sales could be seen on store shelves.

Features of devices

To begin with, it should be noted that for the sake of which many are buying up these models of tape recorders. Each of them contains a small amount of precious metals. Their content is as follows:

  • 0.437 gr. - gold;
  • 0.444 gr. - silver;
  • 0.001 g - platinum.

In addition, these tape recorders have amplifier, power supply and additional spare parts. Using the MD-201 microphone, you can record from a receiver, a tuner, and even from another radio tape recorder. You can listen to music through the loudspeaker, as well as through the sound amplifier. Also, without fail, a diagram is attached to such a device. Using it, you can fix any problems if they appear during use.

Review of the best models

It should be noted that all Electronics devices were different. Among them there were cassette and stereo cassette and reel models.

Cassette

First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with the "Electronics-311-stereo" tape recorder. This model was produced by the Norwegian plant "Aliot". It dates back to 1977 and 1981. If we talk about the design, scheme, as well as the device, they are the same in all models. The direct purpose of the tape recorder is to reproduce, as well as record sound from any source.

This model has both automatic and manual adjustment of the recording level, the ability to erase records, a pause button. There are 4 options for completing these devices:

  • with microphone and power supply;
  • without microphone and with power supply;
  • without power supply, but with a microphone;
  • and without a power supply, and without a microphone.

As for the technical characteristics, they are as follows:

  • the speed of the length of the tape is 4.76 centimeters per second;
  • rewind time is 2 minutes;
  • there are 4 work tracks;
  • the power consumed is 6 watts;
  • from batteries, the tape recorder can work continuously for 20 hours;
  • the frequency range is 10 thousand hertz;
  • the knock coefficient is 0.3 percent;
  • the weight of this model is within 4.6 kilograms.

Another famous model of a tape recorder of a past era is "Electronics-302". Its release dates back to 1974. It belongs to the 3rd group in terms of complexity and is designed to reproduce sounds. Used here tape A4207-ZB. With it, you can record from a microphone, from any other device.

The presence of a dial indicator allows you to control the recording level. Its arrow must not be outside the left sector.If this happens, then the elements must be replaced. Recordings can be turned on and off by simply pressing a key. Pressing one more time will immediately lift the cassette. A temporary stop occurs when you press the pause button, and after another press, playback continues.

The characteristics of the device are as follows:

  • the movement of the tape occurs at a speed of 4.76 centimeters per second;
  • the alternating current frequency is 50 hertz;
  • power - 10 watts;
  • the tape recorder can work continuously from batteries for 10 hours.

A little later, in 1984 and 1988, at the Chisinau plant, as well as at the Tochmash plant, more improved models "Elektronika-302-1" and "Elektronika-302-2" were produced. Accordingly, they differed from their "brothers" only in schemes and their appearance.

Based on the well-known tape recorder "Spring-305" models such as "Electronics-321" and "Electronics-322"... The take-up unit drive was modernized, and the magnetic head unit retainer was installed. In the first model, a microphone was additionally integrated, as well as a recording control. It could be done both manually and automatically. The device can work from a 220 W network and from a car. If we consider the technical characteristics, then they are as follows:

  • the tape is spinning at a speed of 4.76 centimeters per second;
  • the knock coefficient is 0.35 percent;
  • maximum possible power - 1.8 watts;
  • the frequency range is within 10 thousand hertz;
  • the weight of the tape recorder is 3.8 kilograms.

Reel-to-reel

Reel-to-reel tape recorders were no less popular in the last century. So, at the Uchkeken plant "Eliya" in 1970 the line "Electronics-100-stereo" was produced. All models were designed for both recording and reproducing sounds. As for their technical characteristics, they are as follows:

  • the speed of the belt is 4.76 centimeters per second;
  • the frequency range is 10 thousand hertz;
  • power - 0.25 watts;
  • power can be supplied from A-373 batteries or from the mains.

In 1983, a tape recorder was produced at the Frya plant under the name "Rhenium" "Electronics-004". Previously, this enterprise was engaged in the manufacture of products only for military purposes.

It is believed that this model is an exact copy of the Swiss Revox radio tape recorders.

At the very beginning, all the components were the same, but over time they began to be delivered from Dnepropetrovsk. In addition, the Saratov and Kiev electrical plants also began to produce these models. Their technical characteristics are as follows:

  • the tape moves at a speed of 19.05 centimeters per second;
  • the frequency range is 22 thousand hertz;
  • power is supplied from the mains or from A-373 batteries.

In 1979 at the Fryazinsky plant "Reniy" the tape recorder "Electronics TA1-003" was produced... This model differs from others in the presence of a block-modular design, as well as high-level automation. The device can operate in several modes. There are buttons such as "Stop" or "Record" available. In addition, there is a noise reduction system, a recording level indicator, and a wireless remote control. As for the technical characteristics, they are as follows:

  • the movement of the tape occurs at a speed of 19.05 centimeters per second;
  • the frequency range is 20 thousand hertz;
  • power consumption - 130 watts;
  • the tape recorder weighs at least 27 kilograms.

Summing up, we can say that tape recorders "Electronics" in the Soviet Union were quite popular. And this is not in vain, because thanks to them it was possible to listen to your favorite music not only at home, but also on the street. Now it is, rather, not a device for listening to music, but just a rare instrument that will appeal to connoisseurs of such things.
